This is what media is allowing black women to push. Not family or positivity. 304 phase and twerking.

Listening to this group of black women is depressing, especially when they talked about 304 phase. Sad and embarrassed. My daughter WILL NOT be like these women.
@elizabethh432913 күн бұрын
then you should probably get her into a good network of like minded girlies near her! it makes all the difference ❤
@chadthedad0313 күн бұрын
@elizabethh4329 i've already started to teach my daughter to look up to and follow people who have the results she'd like, that didn't mortgage their dignity or morality. For example, 304 phases have never helped black women get married. Women are born with value. All they have to do is preserve, and add onto it. These women are teaching sistas how to diminish their value. Blind leading the blind.

You don’t know who your daughter will become as a woman to her partners, nor should you. That will not be any of your business to know and would be quit weird if you pry. Focus on being a safe space for her and prepare her for the world. All men are not bad, but all men are not good - no matter how “good” of a woman you are. Encourage her to protect her self and work within her best interests/not sacrifice her time on unworthy people.
@chadthedad0313 күн бұрын
@ddoubleu170 I said what I said. Maybe your daughter will move like these "ladies," but mine will not. She already understands that she was born with value that she must preserve, and must add onto it. The women on this panel are telling women how to diminish themselves. Them speaking on relationships while their old selves are still sleeping with strangers, and having no rings between them is ridiculous work.

Body positivity as a topic...needs to die. Preservation, infatuation, & adoration of one's self shouldn't garner this much attention! Let everyone LOVE & LIVE IN their own bodies. There's a lack of backbone & comprehensive capability, and that's why the masses follow societal standards like clueless sheep. *shrugs*
@alaroche18 күн бұрын
this is psychobabble nonsense. Everyone "loving" their bodies is the reason why we are the most obese nation in the world. We have the most overtaxed healthcare system in the world. People are dying diabetes, high blood pressure, and cholesterol, especially in the BLACK COMMUNITY. This is not a feelings issue, it's a biology one. Stop with the emotional arguments and let's get healthy as a people. Stop embracing toxic behaviors like overeating.

@nisham27 it's an observation. You prefer to be offended and that's your right. But miss me sis. I said what I said for a reason.
@jeannestrickland702713 күн бұрын
Don't fool yourself into thinking that a wedding ring represents high value. Talk to some sisters who have been around for years. Even Halle B., Mariah, Carey's, etc. types often end up divorced. Value begins with you.
@JustBree71613 күн бұрын
@@jeannestrickland7027 @jeannestrickland7027 there's 7 words in my initial sentence. Don't use your drunk talking points to add or subtract to what I said. An adult would ask the question and not assume that I meant that wives are more valuable. Now as a Christian, yes they absolutely are. However as an adult I am clear that not everyone shares my beliefs. To assume what you have based on 7 words is typical of one who don't comprehend. Happy New Year
@chadthedad0313 күн бұрын
@jeannestrickland7027 You list 2 celebrity superstars? They don't live the same reality as 99% of the US population but you use them as examples? And Halle herself has had multiple failed marriages and relationships. Comes to a point where people must accept the common denominator. Just like all the women on this panel. They all move on demontime, and none have a ring for some reason. I'm embarrassed and I'm not even with them.
