I must have listened to this opera a few hundred times over the years ,but this is special ! .Luca Pisaroni is so expressive.Gorgeous voice .Kate Royal has a beautiful voice too.This production didn't need fancy props-the performers acted their pants off.Thank you for posting it.

Too fast for what? This is an ideal tempo; a proper Allegro. Perhaps for some reason you don't like it so fast, or you are used to a slower tempo, but you shouldn't state your opinion as if it is a fact! Good contrast between the fast and slow passages, in line with the text and the character of the music.
