Absolutely one of my most favourite Kylie songs ever, it's so beautiful and heartfelt - Most of us have probably been there and lyrics are so relatable. I think she's really proud of this song too as whenever I've seen her perform it live she's really put her all in to it. I think people probably already said so, but the video is influenced by Jane Fonda in Barbarella. :)

I have only seen Kylie live once. I won tickets from a radio station call in competition to see her Intimate And Live tour show in 1998. Two tickets! Then, I couldn't find anyone to go with me. So I went by myself and had a brilliant time. I entered a 25 words or less competition to win a trip to Vegas. I didn't win but it was worth doing.

One of my favorites as an OG kylie fan. I can tell you were mesmerised, because you didn't talk so much during this one😆You're definitely during the period where she cemented her icon status. No, she wasn't. This was 1994.... Kylie was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2005, part way through her Showgirl Tour.

I too was a little confused until I realised the show girl tour was at the end. Personally I hated this song. Was a big let down after confide in me. Much better songs on the album and it was scandalous that "where has the love gone" or "time will pass you by" wasn't released as singles. But hey ho this is what deconstruction done for her released her naff songs as singles but never listened to fans. Must watch "time will pass you by" got it stuck in my head that song

Put Yourself In My Place is one of her finest ballad. Songwise, Showgirl Tour is my favourite because she sang songs that she wont normally sing in her regular tour. However it is one of my least favourite tour vocally. She sounds more nasal than usual on the tour. Who knew it was a sign for cancer
