Madang Census Funding Limitations

Madang Province is yet to receive funding support to get the census exercise off the ground.
Provincial Census Coordinator for Madang Bhreed Kinjakali said Madang has completed all necessary trainings including a mock census, recruitment and awareness at the national and provincial level.
Training at the LLG level has been put on hold because of a delay in funding and training materials such as tablets, which will be used, for data collection.
