True story..My dad is ex serviceman..he too worked in sikkim region. Once he left for vacation, my dad regiment taken charge for 1 month. And who ever visit his place need to salute him. Even higher officer also salute him. One of the officer refused to salute him coz harbajan is lower rank solider. Before crossing that region, that officer died. But I heard ..he came in Officer dream to find his body.

When I was in NCC years ago, a JCO shared an incident with me, not just a "story." He said that when he was commissioned in Sikkim, people told him about a presence in the room allocated to him after death. Initially, he didn’t believe it, but soon he noticed that someone seemed to be living there. What's more scary is that this aura still doing sentry duties in that area! He was a ghost guardian. Soldiers would leave food, and it would get eaten. He was no longer an imagination for him after seeing the mule on the ridgeline of the mountain through binoculars. Jai Hind! 🪖
