Itachi is a humble character who was truly a a shinobi. A shinobi who lives in the darkness. A shinobi who endures. A shinobi who protects those he loves. Every definition of a shinobi brought out in the anime he was. Every other uchiha gave in to the pain (besides Shisui) he took it in and moved on.
