Madara slapping around the Kage is godly, but I think this is where Madara peaked in the series. Since he's now technically "alive", there's actual stakes and risks with his fights (or there would be if he wasn't Madara). In this one skirmish, he takes down the "God of Shinobi" and fights off the Shinobi Alliance, Sasuke, and Naruto while still blind. Then he seals them all within like a minute, incapacitates an immortal Second Hokage, and basically kills the two main characters. All without ever feeling threatened and spitting facts about humanity.

Nah, from what I can tell they use Genjutsu to transmit information from the Sharingan to the brain so as to avoid burning out their optic nerves. Transplanting a Sharingan from a relative works works so well because the chakra is different enough that it isn't absorbed by the brain's own chakra but similar enough it isn't rejected.
