More than the comedy, I'm watching this to relive & experience that (G)old moment. Being a 90s kid isn't that easy. In the childhood, we've seen the world moving forward slowly & simply with peace & all of a sudden it started sky rocketing & it's never been the same again! Sometime it gets tough to manage all these chaos of rapid transformation inside the brain. I badly miss that time, that peace, those simple living people, those species of birds which got extincted by us(Humans), that environment, that air, that love & compassion for each other....!

Those were terrible days. Booking a railway ticket was an absolute nightmare and a day-long ordeal. First, there would be a long queue at the booking counter, where you'd have to spend hours standing in the hot sun awaiting your turn. As you near the booking counter window, you'd find that there would be ten people already around it, and you will have to guess who your immediate predecessor is. (We Indians NEVER queue up in a straight line, for us a queue means many people scattered around the place. It's almost as if we are ashamed to stand behind someone.) Finally when your turn did come, the booking clerk would promptly leave their seat to go to the toilet or for a coffee/tea break, leaving you stranded and in a state of panic, anger and frustration. Eventually, they would return, and then spend the next 10 minutes staring at the computer screen to check for availability for your train of choice, only to then inform you that the train is full and you'd only get a WL ticket. If you say no to that, he/she would then throw your booking form back at your face and ask you to fill a new form for a different train to your destination. The list of trains would be located in another part of the station, so you will have to invariably give up your position in the queue. You then got a new booking form, walked up to where the list of trains is mentioned (or look it up in a book that the railways used to publish back then), filled the form, rejoined the queue (now you'd be the last person), and the agony would repeat. In somewhat better-equipped booking centres such as those in Bangalore, at least you'd get to sit while you waited for your turn. The booking centres in North India (especially Delhi) were just horrible, the booking clerks were rude, the crowd was like hungry dogs, and the heat merciless. The internet has made life easier for the World in general. But for us Indians, it is nothing short of a blessing, and the curse of the railway booking office is among the first things that it helped eradicate.

Jaspal Bhatti.. Raman (Pran's diamond comic) all superb satire.. Lucky to have these gems available on youtube. I wonder who can dislike this Jaspal Bhatti's subtle acting is evergreen and is the difference.. which will beat all other shows. Never felt like it is him and not our neighbour middle-aged uncle from Delhi.. After this Office Office had content but was louder, and some actors getting over top Now it is all about the individuals..
