I'm on opiates for legit life ruining pain and am about to go threw the battle of getting off of them I'm terrified after hearing about how bad it's going to be. Does anyone know if it's at all possible to slowly keep cutting the dose or do I have to just stop cold turkey and fight threw the discomfort or can a hospital do anything to make detoxing less horrible?

There's no aspirin in Percocet. There's acetaminophen (Tylenol" 5mg of Oxycodone, and 500mg acetaminophen. Not sure how you wouldn't know that if you were eating 30-40 a day.

He was saying he took 30-40 percocets a day which isn't possible. If he did then his liver would definitely be shot and he would be dead. That is unless he did cold water extraction and didn't consume the APAP (but he says he got bloated so he did). I don't believe his addiction was as severe as he claims. This is coming from recovering heroin addict who started with pills too.

I can take 30 or 40. Done it for like 4 years straight only cause they were practicly free they were so cheap. If I could afford it is still take that many. But now I take what I can when i can. I still make sure my bills are paid then waste the rest unfortunate. It's hard to stop when you have chronic pain on top of the addiction

+daniel pavlides Where the fuck are you from? lol $12/ pill? If you buy perc 30s so 30mg of oxycodone its $1 per mg. So 1 perc 30 is $30. OC 80s which are 80mg of oxycodone usually go for 40-60 bucks. If you buy them in bulk you get them cheaper. If you buy like a 500 perc30s They usually will be like $20 a pop instead of $30. If you buy like 500 OC80s they're like $25-30 a piece. So 20 OC80s a day is like a $600 a day habit, which is very doable with tolerance. The user would usually switch over to heroin at that point.
