@Lou Ferrier Same here. I always liked rap beats but was rarely down with their message until I found Mac and he lead me to Mad and while I don't always agree with everything they say, especially the older stuff, It's ok. They grew up same as I did and I can relate to them and I can finally boom rap songs that I agree with. Respect to all good folk trying to do right.

Been a Swollen fan for half my life. I will be 29 in a month. Madchild, your music is the only thing getting me out of bed everyday. In fact I created this profile just to comment in hopes this reaches you. I respect you giving us music that is from your soul. Almost in every way I can relate. From seasonal depression from living in similar weather as to Canada (I live in MT), to being a full blown alcoholic in recovery (2 years sober). Maniac depressive, anxiety and the fear of not being in control still ruin my days. Anxiety comes out in anger as you might be able to tell from yourself, and mine caused me to ruin a 5 year long relationship with the mother of my only child, beautiful daughter who is 17 months now. People forget just because we are sober, doesn't mean the battle is over in our mind, everyday is a struggle for me man and I want you to know that your music seriously helps me out in ways I didn't think music could. Thank you very much man, much respect.
