I am old enough to remember an old NES game called Play Action Football. It only had like 8 teams in it and one of them was the Rams. They had a back up QB named Mark Hermann that every pass went about 80 feet in the air and 5 yards down field. So in the backyard when my friends and I would throw the ball around we'd yell, "HERRRRRMAAANNNN," and chuck the ball as high in the air as we could and not care how far it went.

Drew Morris, Vikings Quarterback would have been one of the most fun things ever for football pundits. He's pretty fast for a quarterback, throws deep bombs constantly, also can't throw a screen pass and is on a historic interception pace while having the Vikings out in front in the division race.

I love that you ended the episode mentioning Jamies Winston. I was gonna comment about that myself. Seriously though, this has been such a fun series and I can't wait to see Drew develop. The reason why is because I can see it now, give it three or four more seasons and there will come a game where you just go something like 28 of 34 for 423 yards, 5 touchdowns and 1 interception(because, c'mon, you're Drewski, it'll happen) and you'll be calling it like, "woah, we haven't seen Morris this good since his time in college." Then, from that point on, we will truly see the Legend of Drew Morris officially begin. Speaking of legend status. Let's take a moment to realize just how dominate your defense is. Despite you currently having more interceptions than touchdowns, you are sitting at 7-3 as we begin the home stretch of the regular season. If you keep winning, which you have to since those dang pesky Bears have the same record as you currently, despite the thrashing you've given them. Honestly, I'd like to see a look at the playoff picture right now, we've got 6 games(approximately a month and a half left in the regular season) so, unless Madden pulls a Madden and has like all 32 teams firing on all cylinders, we should have a somewhat decent picture of what potentially the first playoff appearance in the career of Drew Morris will look like. Now, I know we're focusing on Drww because of the continuation of his NCAA career and all that but I'm gonna assume that you are also working on the future of the rest of the team as a whole in the background, because if Drew plays for say 10-15 years, it'll be a totally different looking team by then. Either way, keep it up Drewski, this series has been fun. The added history for Drew Morris coming out of college gives this series a new life, that of which I can honestly say I have never seen before.

I wonder if this run by this version of Drew Morris would be Tebow-mania. This was a year that the Vikings actually should have collapsed but, despite their new QB's horrible inconsistency, some key throws being completed really propel this team. You know at the very least, with Skip's hateboner for Aaron Rodgers, that Skip Bayless would be going nuts about this performance while ignoring the statline. Others may be skeptical, other's may claim it's his leadership, that he's a "winner". It's interesting to imagine.
