Everything mentioned for superstar mode has depth, immersion and creativity. Did they bring back old favorite features sure, but they are what the community asked for. Franchise on the other hand received tuning and shallow recycled features. Adding trade slots, relocation teams, and commissioner tools doesn’t change the fact that they did nothing but remove features for 10 years. All you need to do is rewatch the superstar trailer and then watch the franchise trailer. Which one has been given the proper attention and resources to actually improve it and give fans what they’ve asked for.

Yes and they are just going to hand the world to everyone in the process. You have to take into account that people work on these games and they have lives. They make these games every year. Just think about making a game every year. If someone is making a game on a yearly basis of course they are going to use recycle things. It not only saves time but gets you closer to that end goal. You don't think a new car gets new material every time they make one do you. Most of the materials used to make a car are recycled from old cars and even some old cars can be resold as new and you wouldn't even know it. I mean look at the mods people make. They aren't just using something they made to do a mod. They are using what someone else already created and then changing it so it can be added on to the game. I mean you get mad at EA but really 2k has been doing this as well but people just love 2k. I mean really they didn't do anything to the WWE 2k games until they stop for one year to make the game better. Yes they skipped a year to make WWE 2k better but again they had glitches and crap in the game this year. A game on a yearly basis wil have tons of glitches and bugs in it. I know some people won't see it that much in a basketball game but they are there so EA isn't the only one at fault. Just know one thing though if you want to cry about the game maybe you should tell them to skip one year and work on all the stuff you want in the game because once it's in the game. Then you will realize that it's not what you wanted in the game. As somethings that are taken out of the game could've been the reason they had glitches and bugs. So they take it out of the game to fix them. Yet because its yearly they can't do that. So them skipping a year of madden would be best for the game itself.

They need coaches who are limited to how many plays or what plays they can open too depending on the qb, players and coach they have. Example, a new oc is working with a young qb, so they have to rely on simple plays and it opens up as they grow. But if said young qb has a experienced oc, they can’t have as many plays, but they can have very dominant plays. It’d make awareness or football iq an actual stat rather than wondering weather a player was dumb or not on the field.

Have they improved crowd noise especially based on situations? Also is the weather better like when its raining the field should be sloppy and uniforms more muddy and dirty same with snow? Those are two things I wish they would improve on because that would really bring the game to life and give a real feel to the game

@@ad_lite15 agreed and got it to be heavy rain or snow and uniforms be just as dirty as if it was sunny is ridiculous. Simple fixes like that would improve the look and feel of the game dramatically but they think adding refs is an improvement like who tf plays the game because refs are visible on the field or not..

I remember in previous maddens and even in the old ncaa football games the rain affected how the players took off from the LOS hopefully that's still in the game

I’m curious about the Super Bowl in franchise mode. If they have neglected this one more time I won’t know what to say..0 halftime presentation and the same animation after u win the game..add the to franchise along with what they did and I’m good.. restricting contracts and no messing with my depth charts are the best ones for me.

Superstar mode is a lot of fun. I probably spent an hour doing the combine drills. In franchise the mini games are fun too. Gotta say I haven’t had this much fun playing in awhile. I just need to figure out how to throw the touch passes 😂

Sounds like it’s another year with a step I the right direction. I think next year will be the best Madden we’ve had in 13ish years with NCAA coming back and it will push them to continue in this direction and only make superstar better and better along with franchise.

They need to add player special catch ability.. like example: OBJ - 1 Handed Catch but has to get his x factor up to get the 1 hand catch. .. those great spectacular catch ability animation those player made through career should be add to those specific players. I could see it fun and see it like real life instead of same animation everyone catch the same. Lol.

I know this will never happen, but it would be great if Madden was released every 2 to 3 years and charged a $30 subscription for all software updates. That would give us time to really get used to the new mechanics of the game and whatever features are OP the madden team could nerf and make the game more sim like. That may help with how the future edition is released. Anyway, 24 is looking pretty promising. Thank goodness

Career mode and superstar mode look exactly the same. And also, do you have any control where you get drafted? Or will you get stuck playing for the same 3 or 4 different teams?

For, I haven't bought a Madden since 21. Just downloaded updated rosters and called it good. Might have to buy this one on release to get hyped for the season. The mini camp, drills, superstar mode and everything else looks awesome. I do wish they kept Face of the Franchise though. I guess I was one of the few who enjoyed those cheesy stories. Although it was half baked, I liked the progression from high school to college to the NFL. Madden seems to be heading in a better direction. But I was talking with someone the other day about how amazing ESPN NFL 2K5 was. That game was amazing at the time, especially its presentation with Chris Berman. I really wish 2K was allowed to keep making football games. If Madden and 2K were battling to make the better game every year. We, the consumers would win no matter which game you preferred. The competition would make for a better product on both sides.

They need to make the crowd more interactive. That's one thing that hasn't really been upgraded in hardly any of the maddens. Make the crowd look and feel more realistic.

It might be best to skip a year for EA. Being that they release Madden every year they never have time to fix any glitches or anything. They really need a extra year to work on somethings they want to keep forever in the game. This will give them time to also think about where they want to go with the series. It's hard to do this as they have to keep the game updated year around and then also work on the next game.

It's going to take a lot to build back trust in this game, but bringing back a lot of the old features is a big start. If they keep what they have rather than removing and recycling, it would go a long way. I'm still skeptical, but I'm at least hopeful for the first time in 15 years.

More realistic preseason lineups please 🙏 it'd be fun randomly finding breakout players that were second or third on the depth chart, allowing them more playing time by default. Rather than starters being in the whole first half, especially veterans. How long has it been since we've seen a seasoned vet play the whole first half of the first preseason game? It'll add a tad more realism in franchise mode. And save on key players being injured. I'm excited for this madden more than any other one before 💪🏽 looks insane
