Madden 25: NEW Features In Franchise Mode!

Madden should take a look at 2Ks franchise mode. Being able to hire/upgrade actual position coaches, medical staff, the scouts themselves as well as dealing with certain personality traits from your coordinators below you and the management above you would make the game a lot more immersive. Some Defensive coordinators (like Steve Spagnoulo) aren’t going to leave their current position on a championship team to take on a head coach gig at a dumpster franchise late in their career, whereas young, successful coordinators WOULD be more likely to leave to make their own name in the business. you could even double down on that idea by implementing a system for where the staff was beforehand. For example: if you’re hiring a coordinator who failed as a head coach elsewhere in the NFL, he would be comfortable in the league but also might be a bit timid in his playcalling due to criticism and his firing, whereas a new coordinator from college football might be more confident due to his recent success and promotion into the NFL circles, but could lead to him being brash and more risky plays being called and also wouldn’t have the level of experience in the NFL meaning he would have relatively empty skill trees.

@@NiceDiggzmax football won’t be close until 2030 at least. It has a long way to go in development. The development will be slower due to it being free to play. Most madden players (even the ones who hate on it non stop) will hate on this game solely because it’s football (don’t believe me look at what Madden players said about simulation football). It will take way too long to convert players and get those players support. You also have most madden players don’t understand game development and will hate on the game not understanding it will be in open beta for a very long time.

Madden already had most of this stuff in the ps2 era. Not sure why the cut all that out, I'm still playing those games for the in depth franchise mode. EA's new thing is "If it's not MUT, it gets cut."

Because MUT takes up so much space, until they make MUT a separate game to buy, which they won't, all of the other modes will be trash. It's happening with 2k and that MyTeam as well, they are the modes that makes them money because the idiots that play them constantly buy packs to upgrade their players. Also the blocking will never make sense because offensive lineman don't have x factors but have to go against x factors

The issue is that madden itself isn't marketed towards people who've played the game before. It's to people who haven't, to draw them in to modes like ultimate team, where they're more likely to spend. It's a business and they just see sales reports my guy. None of these developers care about the game at all. Stop buying it, stop caring about it, stop engaging with their content, and they'll sort it out

On the QB sitting scenario: your QB2 is the holder for field goals & extra points (something no current NFL team does or has done for YEARS, but EA hasn't fixed still), so they still count against the games played stat (see 'General' tab on player stats screen)

Thanks for the video. A heads up about Franchise Mode (before you buy)... For those considering Madden 25 for Franchise Mode, if creating a Coach or Owner that looks like you is important, you are going to be disappointed. I haven't seen too many people at this stage that seem to be bothered by this, but for me, feeling immersed in Franchise Mode starts with being able to CREATE yourself in the game as a COACH or OWNER (like we see in EAFC Manager Mode & NBA2K MyGM). In Madden 25, you only a small handful of generic COACH faces and it doesn't allow you to customise. There is also no face, appearance, or customisation available for OWNER mode either. Instead, we are just given a silhouette. For me, this is disappointing. It's a small detail that could make a BIG difference to a lot of people. I don't think it would take much for EA to either add more faces or add a customisation option. I'm hoping they either patch in more faces/options or at least allow us to CUSTOMISE our own COACH/OWNER as soon as possible.

MUT takes up so much space which is why the other modes don't get the proper attention/upgrade. The same thing is happening with Myteam on 2k. Until they make MUT and Myteam separate games, the other modes will continue to suffer. MUT affects madden way worst than Myteam does with 2k but it's only a matter of time because they are the cash cows and we all know it's about the money not the best product for the consumer. The weirdos who play MUT and Myteam deserve just as much blame

Hey man, i been wondering something about the new madden 25 and i dont see any videos about this anywhere but its very important to me, would you be able to make a video or go over all the custom faces in the draft classes and which coaches we have to choose from if we hire/fire coaches in the offseason? Just curious if its the exact same ones as last year. It looks like some got remodeled but cant tell if they added new ones or just adjusted the same old faces again. Its just always bugged me that years into a franchise everybody starts to look the same once a chunk of the real players retire and all the same coaches just cycle around instead of them having new ones pop up

sorry I missed this comment. the cap hit you are seeing is what your cap will be for the upcoming season. Once you cross over into offseason in Madden franchise its essentially the very beginning of next season.

Madden is more complicated which i like, but I’m playing as Denver Broncos and I’m in my 2 season as a owner and I haven’t had any messages or any conferences like you. Yes I highly recommend doing the training yourself to maximize your xp gain. It can change a player in a single season a lot

PS2 Madden was so great, it had all this and more. The cut scenes are dumb. On PS2, every player had a morale and it was pretty self-explanatory. Madden puts so much effort into accomplishing nothing.

If you follow that for getting to 90% in Madden 25 you will actually get to see their talent now. It doesn’t appear that changes were made to the percentage hand outs aside from the UI looking different and their talent unlocking at 90% instead now.

This means that, in single region, I can get unlocked the talent for both first and second role. Then, the only way to unlocked any other player I should use the 3 personal focus or the 3 private workout.
