EA has to do something about defenders past the LOS being totally unaware that a QB is scrambling towards the LOS. Too many QBs just walking in the endzone while LBs just watch them walk in.

Click the right stick and that will make your defenders stop playing the pass and play the run, but be careful cause the QB will still throw if still behind the LOS.

I think a big issue with Madden each year is they sell it as a simulation when you only need to watch a minute or 2 of video to realise its just another game. If they just marketed it as such, it might be more palatable.

It's still more sim than CFB 25. They're both fun but definitely CFB is arcade football. I know college ball can be like that but sometimes it's beyond ridiculous

This looks closer to college which is good. Haven't truly enjoyed a madden with little issues since 17. 23 and 24 were good but had things I didn't like

I’m liking college football better than madden. A problem I still see in madden 25 is when the qb starts running and the defensive players just look for 3 seconds. They don’t attack right away. It’s so annoying cuz it’s hard to stop next to the goal line

@@lucritix You can't do it routinely in the game either unless you're wide open, which any good NFL WR can do (if you've watched them do this in warmups it's easy for them). You can even drop them being wide open as well, since it's a tougher catch it's not guaranteed. Also, it's a video game. Y'all need to realize that certain things are put here for video game sake and that's perfectly fine. As long as it's not something that's overpowered and works everytime it's ok.

One of the small things to note is the time change throughout the game. Thought it was a nice touch hopefully can be dropped into CF25 as well. Not sure when I'll pick up Madden but I haven't played a Madden title since 2016

I have not purchased a MADDEN title in hmmm 15 or more years! What I am seeing in this video are things we all expected MANY MANY years ago. In my opinion football games should have been way further ahead then what we are seeing. With the license going to one dev hurt for sure. With all that said I may pick this up if it runs smoothly on PC that is.

Ok. This looks to be one of the best Madden games they have made in years. I glad the linebackers can jump now and that you can place the ball in small holes in the defense to complete a pass. And the abilities like the juke and spin are far more realistic. I’m definitely going to get this game!

I wish they would add more crowd builds, sounds, cheers, interviews extc. The sideline players don’t even help the players up or seem into the game. Get rowdy and try to fight the opposing team when they’re on opponents side. The media Camera men barely even move, give them some more animations. Let them get knocked over… where’s the water guys, girl? It’s tons of small things EA could do before they get into the real problems

I like the way you think. Of course the gameplay is most important but to add some small details as you mentioned would be cool. I know Arrow Head and Seahawks and a few others have some of the louder stadiums so you should be able to recognize it on the game. Some teams have theme songs when their team score a touch down. I haven't played the new Madden so I'll like to play it before I judge it

The last good madden was when you could edit the fans. My biggest turn off in madden is the scenery looking soooooo basic and generic. Nothing about the scenery looks different. They need to add something to make more immersive, NFL 2K5 with the sportscenter halftime show and cut scenes. SOMETHING

compared the footage between the CFB25 first look and this one. Yea they dropped the ball in terms of graphics, even with the CFB25 first look running at a capped framerate it looked amazing. This looks like a release title for the PS4. EA Orlando made both, so you'd think they'd use the same engine from CFB25 but that's just too good to be true

I will say that all of this is good. The legacy code is going to continue to hold Madden back however. The same glitches and bugs pop up every year. And Ultimate always takes priority even though the NFL is literally franchise mode.
