Defenders can actually knock each other over in this game if they collide right. I threw a ball between the safety and corner when my WR beat press coverage, and as the ball arrived in my receivers hands, the corner and safety smacked into each other and fell over. So awesome!

the strafe was on point for me vs cpu and wen i played my bro. just gotta make sure to strafe wen its "appropiate" to, feel me. but overall i can say they finally stepped it and forget the past maddens because they started with a clean slate of slaff members so i take this as the first of the future. i teared up a lil bit ha lol but anyway lookin foward to hopefully starting my own commentary channel this year n running with u and the other great commentators in the community

i played the demos and i do think that the running backs do break alot of problems.but i think thats a good thing.and i also really enjoy how the passing game is. Last but not least i was very able to user and click on the DBs on defense and get pics.i noticed its not nearly asmany drpped pics as in ncaa. the strip is pretty dead so id stay with the hitstick. all together the demo blew me away. i loved the game play and the infinity engine really stood out with the tackles. love the videos G1GB

my first game was pretty awesome...first thing i did was put aldon smith at LE, mcdonald at RE, justin smith at DT, and bowman at LOLB....sick pass rush...i love the way eli was getting sacked and throw around like a rag doll, got fumble recoveries, picks, ran one back with ginn...i couldnt really throw any bombs to moss, just ran a lot...it was on all-pro tho, too much cheese with all-madden....also when the cpu does a hurry up to spike, its ridiculously fast lol

Lol. Yeah I set my alarm to 5am just to get up and download the demo. Been playing all morning. The demo has definitely exceeded my expectations. I haven't been excited about a Madden game in years. My only issues this year are non-gameplay issues when in the past those were all of my issues. The user controls feels near perfect. I have a reason to stop playing All-Pro 2k8 now

Mav i've been playing this demo all morning and I gotta say this better not be the game. Bradshaw and Lynch are unstoppable, all the receivers drop an unreal amount of open field passes, the players look like they all break their legs at the end of every play.

if u want to intercept the ball u have to hold triangle or Y on the other end as a receiver to make user catches u only click triangle or Y its kinda weird and the reason theyre breaking alot of tackles is bcuz ur playing on all madden i suggest u play on all pro which is the default difficulty for online gaming

RG3 for sure is the best QB in the demo. I was the Redskins, RG3 put it on the dot everytime. try them out Mav!

Reason for the broken tackles could be the difficulty settings. If you are playing on all madden the sliders are all set on 25.

When you're talking about the animations you could let the replay play so we can see the physics better. I know they replay almost every play and they have cool camera angles you just have to not press anything after the play.

You should definitely check and see if Turbo blitz is in the game because alot of people used it in NCAA sadly.

You don't have to strafe in this game, it automatically does it for you. If you hold turbo it will come out of strafe and let go of turbo and it goes back to strafe

Hey Mav, do you know whether they'll update the rosters before the game is released? Because in the demo, the Seahawks don't have any of the good players like Terrel Owens, Russel Wilson and some of the halfbacks.

it looks like the D-line actually gets pressure apposed to last year...you could stand in the pocket for about 5-6 seconds at a time. I like how people just cant run alllll crazy lol you have to run with purpose. you can't just throw them random passes...the D reacts pretty well. im just happy about the D line. seemed like tha further back you dropped the easier it was for the line to get to you...which is realistic. great vid!

I think the broken tackles are more common to balance out how easy they trip but I'm not sure.

its a couple of reason for missed tackles- players often miss tackles for trying to go for big hits in real life and its on all-madden so the computer gets an advantage in sliders

The strafe like is on and off. If it's a deep throw and you have to basically try and make it to the spot of the ball. Strafe ain't got your back. But if you user the entire time no problem. So maddenmastermind, depend on the strafe only if the DB in a position to play the ball and not the receiver.

I like the video and the game. The infinity engine has a way to go in my opinion. There were some neat moments, but I think overall the game is fun. Can't wait to compete online.

imav a lot of these problems are caused by the all madden difficulty, mr.hurriicane shared a very good all madden slider set which improved the games against the computer i think online will be a little different with strafing and catching if the sliders are the same as madden 12 ur catching was at like 20% and the computers was at like 80% and the strafing just changes at a higher difficulty if u try on like all pro it should work better and i think it will work online as well.

they need to fix the sound glitch when tackling...if you get tackled or make a tackle near the right sideline, you only hear the tackle in the left channel

Just to point out, there is no strafe in NCAA because it was replaced by reaction time. I think they made it the same in madden

Lobbing on a streak, Holy S***! I was on my 45, 4 and 15 and I said WTF let's go for it. Streak to Santana Moss, lobbed it over the defender for a touchdown (user catch of course)

How about the lighting? In the seahawks vs. redskins on kick returns the lighting is awful, all the uniforms are dark and can't tell what team the players are on.

Tackling and blocking I have no problem with. It's the dropped passes. I was playing with RG3 just to see how his throwing is going to be in the game. He's too accurate if you ask me. Oh yeah the drop passes (my mind wonders so so), I would sometimes have a drop pass if I didn't user, but if I did user, would you look at that a catch!

another glitch....when i was on the 3 yard line with RG3 i scrambled and tried to dive into the end zone by pressing X cause i thought X was dive? but instead he threw a pass to the X receiver and there was a flag for throwing passed line of scrimmage, but it was also a touchdown since i passed the goal line...so the game got stuck, couldnt kick extra point for the touchdown or go to referee screen for the penalty...

I notice when I bring a db down to the line and switch to another player, the db goes back to his original position. I like tthat.........no nano blitz this year.

Played 2 games so far on PS3. I haven't had one pass dropped yet. And no where near as many broken tackles as you were having.The passing seems a little to easy. I started 10 of 10 with RG3 and ended up 12 of 14. Ive had a problem with blown coverage. Cover 6 the guy was wide open down the middle.

It should be an easy fix, but something is definitely wrong with the catching. I had a game where my receivers dropped everything and they were wide open. Something is wrong with that.

Single player offline is always good. NCAA 13 was "a+!" with that. But when online came it was F- because of the glitch quitting and not being patch. Wait until online... I bet u can do the custom on glitch

The Broken tackles and dropped passes can be patched and possibly fixed with sliders.

Maddenmastermind you have to really judge the defense in this game when you throw it deep. It order to pull off a kickass play you need to know whether to lob or bullet pass the ball with lead passing and user catching

well considering my first play from scrimage (run play with Roy Helu Jr.) i got tackled by a guy standing 2 ft from me doing the animation and it doesnt seem madden-esque and so much different from its predicesors i dont know whether to like it or hate it

at first, it seems like you're playing madden 12. it does seem the same, except for the physics, but when you go back to madden 12, the feel is so different. not really liking how they took out gus johnson, could care less for cris collinsworth though. so far, the new madden looks goooooood.
