M.A.D. DETAILING

M.A.D. DETAILING

3 жыл бұрын

Usually our videos consist of vehicles, but today we have a super moldy boat that was in desperate need of a good detail! This was the dirtiest boat either of us have ever seen, from inside to outside this boat was completely covered in mold and algae and to top it all of the inside had 3 inches of leaves and dirt that has accumulated over the years of it sitting outside. To be truthful when we first saw this boat we didn't think it was salvageable but that did not stop us from trying our best! We will let you be the judge of how good of a job you think we did on this boat and we hope to see your answer in the comments!

It brings back memories of my grandparents' old boat. So nostalgic. They have a new one now, but kept the engine. Both were inboard engined boats with outboard prop/rudder assemblies, so since the new boat lacked an engine, and the old boat's engine was still good and compatable, they swapped the engine over and it was good to go. Objectively, it was an upgrade, but I miss the old pink and teal striped design.

Several years ago, my brother passed away and the family was left with a couple of "trash" boats. One that he had just purchased was given to a relative..As a last result, we ended up selling the trash boats for salvage. The thought of having them detailed never crossed our minds. I'm so glad that I watched this video because you've re-educated my knowledge on the subject. Though, I've had my own vehicles detailed, I never included boats as being worthy of the same treatment. Thanks for expanding my consciousness. You're THE MAN!!

That means you have 6 carburetors to clean and synchronize on top of being an oil injected two stroke engine. It's been a money pit and he hasn't been able to take his family out on it for a full day of fun on the water. Total money pit.

I knew then, if I had been in any doubt before ( I wasn't ) about getting the L outta there the shell suit was the clincher and I breathed a sigh of relief. Looks great on a boat though and places it in it's time period . Excellent job. I think you can now justifiably name yourselves Champeeens of the Cleaning Cult! Gives me a new appreciation for boats that are older and not taken care of, the ability to put in effort and get something to come out almost as good as original is stunning. Great job.

@@StaufferGarage Hey instead of looking at each other and saying “let’s make baby”, maybe you should look at each other and say “hmm, let’s finally come clean about what happened & tell the truth”.. y’all can’t keep going on with your life like you didn’t do anything wrong. You exploited a child.... it’s disgusting..H has more love and support from THOUSANDS of people who never even met him now than he did in the 2.5 years he had you two as “parents” . Stop being money hungry a-holes and grow up. Stop copying other KZbin channels & pretending that you actually support them.. just stop

Love this video, hey I have done this before to my boat and it works amazing and cheap, to get rid of the yellow around the bottom of the boat. Use toilet bowl cleaner. Spray it on and let sit for 20 min and pressure wash off. No scrubing needed, just use caution as the cleaner can burn the skin. Anywaysove this video.
