Please suggest Emergency Management use Lg Dumpster Bags fill w sand. rapidly deploy water diversion/plug. can place w crane / helicopter if needed, fill fast w backhoes. especially good for areas that are inaccessible and will hold together better than loose dirt and should make for easier cleanup. Sand bags on steroids, they can hold 3300 lbs or larger and are readily available.

More expensive and not necessary. They have time to do it this way. You dont break out the more expensive way unless it's an emergency.

@@CountryAndProud not necessary it was necessary to the people who will be losing their houses from flooding. And it's not more expensive. And it's a lot less cleanup which also cost money. It can be put in place faster and more efficiently and work more effectively then that loose dirt berm

And I don't know what part of if you're in a hurry and the place is inaccessible part you didn't read but obvious you're not too concerned about flooding in your home. And if you think that loose dirt and that little bit that they're doing is any different than the soil that was able to erode out from under that house you don't understand how Water Works have you ever been to the Grand Canyon
