Maddie Lymburner hey maddie, just another question: I just read in your e-book that you cook without any oil. So when you eat out, do you also care about oil in your food or do you just eat what you like? :)

Hi Maddie, I finally ordered your e-book! I'm a broke ass student living off of loans so I'm really grateful for the generous discount, I'm so excited! The book looks beautiful so far, I can tell you spent a long time on the layout and photography. Your recipes are really accessible for many people. I hope I can inspire my mom, who suffers from many ailments relating to her diet (high blood pressure, obesity, fatty liver and now diabetes), by making these recipes and showing her that healthy eating doesn't have to be hard and vegan food is delicious as much as it is nutritious. As you said in the book, there really is no other option but veganism

LOVED your video as always :) ♥ But I have to disagree with the juicing thing. Whole fruits and vegetables are undeniably healthier than juiced ones. Juice contains vitamins and nutrients, yes, but also the free sugars. The difference between eating whole plants and juiced plants is the fiber. And that fiber is what prevents you from getting a really high glycemic index. No matter if the source of nutrients is natural (as an apple or a carrot). Nature is wise and foods are healthy with all their elements and their natural structure. It's the same thing with whole/refined flours. The moment you take one of those elements out (the fiber in this case), you're making that food less healthy ♥

Tip for the taco salad bowls: turn the ramekin upside down on your baking sheet. Warm them up in the oven then mold your tortillas around the exterior of the ramekin and place back in the oven. This will make a larger bowl and the heat and gravity will keep the shape around your mold :)

Hello, Maddie! I saw your last video where you mentioned that you were struggling with acne, and that hibiscus tea was helping you. Can you update us on that and perhaps talk about acne and if it got better or worse once you became vegan? I still struggle with acne after drastically reducing animal products, I'm mostly vegan, and it frustrates me because I expected to have clearer skin in this diet.

It's only been just about a week, so I'll have to give it more time before an update is due :) My acne is hormone related! But once I get things more sorted out I'll have to do a video :)

As a fellow Vegan, try surviving in a nonvegan friendly city or town like mine were mostly everything is Conventional GMO and heavily processed and loaded with toxic chemicals and the tap water is sketchy. When it comes to produce nothing is organic and genuine in the grocery stores on this rez and in the grocery stores in the surrounding towns as well. Btw i live on a Native American Reservation. In addition i am a Vegan who is on the front lines as a truther and an activist as well being constantly bombarded and nuked daily by Microwave DEW(Directed Energy Weaponry) which depletes my body's minerals and vitamins.

Hi Maddie, just purchased your cookbook, and noticed that next to each recipe you market "Gluten free", but for example hearty veggie soup contains barley, so it's not gluten free. Cinamon buns and berry cake contains all purpose flour, I wonder have you tried to make those with gluten free flour, did it work? Because in many cases gluten free flour does not work as a substitute for ordinary flour.

Hey Maddie, just bought your e-book :) it‘s great! Just one question: are the oatmeal recipes for one person? So do you eat this portion on your own when you prepare it?
@MaddieLymburner6 жыл бұрын
Thank you for the support! It's generally how much I would eat, yes! But, it totally depends! I don't like to "portion control" and will stop eating when full! If you normally eat less than that then make the recipe accordingly :)

that is literally what i ate this morning; green juice and half a watermelon. put everything green i had in the house in the juice, even broccoli. it was delicious and really, and i mean REALLY detoxified my body after a night out... so if you are hangover or simply had a lot to drink a night before drinking a green juice is is perfect for drawing out those toxins out of your body. A disclaimer; i didn't mean this comment to encourage drinking, i myself got drunk first time and hopefully the last time in my life two days ago sooo.... don't drink alcohol kids, drink Maddie's green juice instead (much better for you and tastier)
