Maddie is such a great interviewer because she really tries to understand who she's sitting with. Raja's comment of "I don't think I've ever been seen so clearly" really warms my heart, because from my perspective she's had to fight in the past to be heard in a way that alligns with her personhood, so I'm glad that's been accomplished here.

I have an idea. There will be one permanent host. My guess is that it will be Trixie as she is the most successful drag queen besides RuPaul herself. Now, I think there will be rotating guest judges based on the challenge. Nymphia, Violet, Raja, Aquaria, Jaida for design challenges, Bob, Trinity, Jimbo, and Symone for acting challenges, Sasha Colby, Shea, Yvie, Kylie, and Alyssa Edwards for girl groups, and Jinx, Bianca, Monet, and Willow for comedy challenges. Obviously bring in international queens, paloma for acting, lemon for girl groups, Angele Anang for makeovers, and Admira thunderpussy for comedy challenges. Also, for permanent judges like Michelle, Ross, and Carson, I think the best options would be Alaska, because she knows the game better than anyone, Angeria, because she was watched the most drag race, and she knows the most about international drag and has seen the widest varieties of drag. So basically, Trixie as the host, angeria and Alaska as permanent judges, one queen as that episodes guest judge, and a celebrity as the special guest judge.

True legends don't rise to the top because they've been put on a pedestal, but because they elevate the art and all of us with with it. This episode made so many things about Raja click into place for me. The goal is accurate authentic connection and communication. She wants to understand others and have her art accurately communicate what she intends. There are people who have encyclopedic knowledge on a topic, and others who amass knowledge in pursuit of goals. When Raja talks about looks on Drag Race or Photo Ruview, she doesn't sound snobby making reference after reference. They were just descriptors to help communicate her viewpoint, which I didn't always agree with, but always felt that she communicated accurately. I literally watched the Ruview that Maddy mentioned literally the day before this video dropped, and she mostly just seemed upset that the shoes seemed so disconnected from the look. An icon does their art well, supports others in their field, and can really communicate what's so special about it to folks on the outside. This is easily in my top 3 GITMS as best conversation since the connection was so real and mutual. My other two are for comedic chemsitry (Aja) and best all around (Latrice). This is an episode I've listened to three times already, and will be my go-to when I need a reminder of humanity.

This is one of the best interviews Maddy has done. The connection between Maddy and Raja is fabulous and the fact Raja turned the table to interview Maddy was hilarious.

omg Raja is ADORABLE. Maddy thank you for having her on. The conversation the two of you had on identity was amazing and thoughtful. Makes me adore both of you even more so than I had been! xoxox

This one of the best interviews and the list is long. Maddy is getting better and better. Was nice learning more about him. Definitely an enigma.
