Try making this with white bread slices that are thick, abt half inch or more. bread must b fresh. shallow fry in pan only with ghee. milk shld have saffron in it. dip in hot syrup. serve immediately. it will b crunchy on the outside and soft and lava like on the inside. for real shahi experience serve it on sliver platters or silver bowls. its amazing how something ordinary like bread can b truned into a dessert fit for royalty.
