"What if they escape?" What if the 10 story (around 100 feet tall) electric fence isn't made of thin chain link and instead thick heavy metal that the firearms given to the prisoners cannot shoot through the metal of the fence to make a hole or holes and being electric it's not at all likely that someone would take a saw to it and fry themselves in the attempt to cut through? In other words ... IT'S FU@KING COMEDY - DON'T OVER THINK IT!

George Carlin. The man. The Myth. The Legend. 2nd comedian I ever listened to, at WAY too young of an age. My dad owned 4 comedy albums when I was a kid. "Greasy Kid Stuff" by Bill Cosby (the first thing I heard), "AM/FM" and "Class Clown" by George Carlin, and "Bicentennial N****r" by Richard Pryror. By the time I was 12 I had them memorized. As to spending alot of money...we spend $110B a year on the "war on drugs" and another $182B on incarcerating the 2.2M people we have in prison, over half of which are there for minor drug crimes (possession or simple sales). Pretty sure those funds alone could pay for all of these ideas ;)
@MaddyReactions3 ай бұрын
lol realistically how much of that funding is ACTUALLY spent to mitigate the usage and distribution of drugs and prisons are mostly private…so we as individuals should not be required to pay taxes for these establishments but somehow they still receive govt funding. But anywho lol Yes, if the budget was legitimately spent on doing the dang thing…it could work! 🤣
@cbdemented3 ай бұрын
@@MaddyReactions Almost none of it is spent on mitigation. Fighting a war against a concept is impossible. There's no end. Nobody to sign an armistice. But it is profitable. Almost nobody is more anti legalization than law enforcement. Except maybe politicians who don't want to admit they've been wrong for 100 years. Not only do they make a ton of extra budget money on confiscations, but it's easy to pad your arrest numbers with the low hanging fruit of drug users...especially marijuana. You literally can just drive into a neighborhood and use your nose to get an easy bust. And we've privatized a majority of prisons, which incentivizes convictions. The government guarantees a minimum number of beds occupied.
