Mileage is the biggest plus point in RE Bikes: I'm getting 32-34 kmpl in city & 35-40 kmpl in highways! Recently, I had ridden from Delhi to Lucknow via Yamuna Expressway & Agra-Lucknow Expressway n surprisingly, I got 36-37 kmpl on my Classic 350 at the speed range of 90-100 kmph! Not only ur way of riding depends but also make sure to fill up ur tank from good petrol pumps as I experienced most of the petrol pumps do not have good quality n pure fuel!

1. Does alloys crack very often. I don't think so. Unless it's a big accident. 2. Fixing a tubeless tyre is 10 minutes and removing a disk brake tubed tyre would be hard.

I have both bikes .. Bro Regular Thunderbird gives us comfort And Thunderbird x gives us performance... And regular Thunderbird have a lot of issue And Thunderbird x gives peaceful ride.. Main thing is regular Thunderbird ..handle bar is awesome.. and Thunderbird x handle bar is not much comfortable.. And nice vlog. .keep.it up bro

Hi Maddy, the performance of the bike is depended on your mechanic. I'm using Thunderbird 350 since 3+ years and I'm getting mileage of 35 km in the city while on the highway my bike is crossing 40 km. Secondly, if you lubricate your chain every week you won't need to worry about it. One more problem with Thunderbird is its rear breaks which stop working, in that situation you need to stop your bike for 10-15 minutes and then it will be ready to go. As you mentioned this bike has issues with the meter and my mech told me not to replace it as these meters will become unfunctional frequently. One more problem with Thunderbird is it is not having a proper grip on the wet road. I've done several long rides along with my wife and I would always recommend 350. In case of puncture, a new lubricator is available in the market which you need to fill in your tube and then fill the air, this magical thing is puncture proof.

Dono hi bikes bht zyada acchi hain.... performance wise bhi accha hain aur torque & acceleration bhi bht accha hain....awaz bhi damdar hain....lekin purana jo Thunderbird 350 hain usko dekhne main aur feel krne main zyada heavy lagta hain....both the bikes are good looking and good cruiser bikes....but I do most prefer and take new Thunderbird 350X kyunki mainly wo zyada attractive hain aur Thora sa unchaa jaisa lagta hain😊☺️.....mileage engine ki hisab se aur chalane ki hisab se accha hain "it's good"🤩🤗....lekin bike ka agar bht accha khayal rakhen aur Matlab acche se time to time servicing Kare aur clean fuel insert karte rahein toh bike ka performance aur bhi daamdar aur enhanced hoga👈that's for sure✌️....Thankyou🙏

I know the feeling broken spokes!😅 We (Me and fellow person of 70ks appx.) felt off when descending down in Auli,U.K(in Januaray) and couple of spokes broked out, and my bike's rear tire was dancing(gradually increasing),until we reached 10 spokes(appx.) got off till Chandigarh! That was very Risky, but we went to RE showroom(Srinagar,U.K) because of lack of time we had to get off! fortunately, nothing happened in between the journey and reached home safely!😅

good review. i have been riding my TB 350x for the last 1 year and have not faced any issue worth mentioning. since my height is average (5'5"), and i find difficulty in maneuvering the bike with its so called straight handlebar, i just changed it and installed the curved/ape handlebar of old TB 350. In view of my last 15 years' riding experience, i may emphatically say that the issue of maneuveribility with curved handlebar within city traffic is just a myth. The curved handlebar of old TB is way more comfortable than the straight one of TBX. Of course it is of chrome-finish, but then, there are many touches of chrome in TBX, and the chrome handlebar would not be a mismatch. Therefore, i would suggest everyone to buy TB 350X and change the handlebar, and install the old TB's handlebar. Don't buy old TB 350, since it comes with tubed tyres and spoke wheels. And it is always better to have company fitted alloy wheels and tubeless tyres than after market ones.

@@rajasekarana7947 you may change ur spoke wheels and fit alloy wheels and tubeless tyres. RE is now selling their alloy wheels. but why change handlebar? Regarding exhaust, red rooster or anything else that produces better thump is actually illegal. you may install it at your own risk.but you may be harassed by the police, and may even be fined. this is happening in many parts of india, if not everywhere.

Guys I took test ride of both and later bought a 350x. I'd suggest a 350x more because it already has everything that people would buy an enfield and spend on it. For example you wont get alloy wheels and tubeless tyres in the regular 350 and you'll have to spend cash for it. But you get it as stock on 350x. The same goes for handlebar, it's good for city rides. Just a small note- the 350x doesn't get a pillion back rest as stock and you'll have to pay for one. Otherwise all good. Also, aapka jo 55kmpl wala incident tha the same had happened with me my tripmetre had shown me 51. But it's just a small glitch in the metre it's not accurate at all.

i own tb 350 and its really comfortable for me in city as well as for long ride. i drove 600 km on it with only tea breaks and ride was really awesome. i wasn't that much tired. tubeless tyre is an advantage but for me personally i don't like alloy so i still stuck with spoke wheels. u can use puncture liquid for avoiding flat tyre. even i like 2011 model of Thunderbird it look better thn tb 2013 model.

75000 km in 3 years ? dude that is 70 km per day without a break.... My bike is 4 years old. Initially it used to give below 30 average now it's giving 35 approx. Top speed 125( approx). On my last service it I used gulf engine oil for RE and I'm shocked to see that vibrations are reduced at 100kmph. Bike is good if you take care of it. Mine has gone through the Northern mountains , Western ghats , expressways no serious problem yet. Now coming to the topic 350 is better than 350x 1. In 350 it's totally metal but 350x the quality of metal is compromised. 2. Alloy wheels look is not upto the mark. If at all universal spoke wheels are replaced it has to be Worthy. 3. Back rest 4. I don't know what experiment they tried by we do have several normal bikes , Thunderbird is meant to be highway Cruiser it's handle bar is not that comfortable. 5. Color options are worst.

I own a thunderbird 350 and not a big fan, I don't like the oil leakage, even my 13yr old splendor doesn't leak oil on engine. A lot of troubles, I have faced similar issue of speedometer. I am about to change the chainset for the third time. On and on if you have time (Spare time) then you buy royal enfield, because you will be visiting service center a lot and doesn't matter whatever arguments you say, they will not listen to you, further more issue that I am facing is tappet sound and ever green Vibrations :P :P Btw interceptor engine is also made out of metal, it doesn't vibrate.
