Don't understand the negative comments on here. If you've ever watched his twitch steams or other videos you knows he's on crowded PVP servers. The main thing I always get from his videos is he's ALWAYS grinding. If he can't kill mobs due to PVP, then he's herbing or mining or something to make money. And he's the only one of these guys making money videos that will NOT count items that he doesn't consider would be accurate for most people (like extra BL due to sever reset). The man's got dozens of videos making money, if you can't use at least 1 or 2 of them to make some cash then you're doing something wrong.

People just don't like farming. They see a video of a guy who (in the video) is having an easy time (because he's playing off-peak hours) and they're upset that they can't log in at 5pm and do the same. People use every excuse in the book. At first it was "of course you have an easy time farming because you're a mage". Now it's "that's cute, your server must not have players". The reality is I hate farming. I can't do what he does because it drives me crazy. Unless I'm guaranteed a drop in the first minute, my brain tells me that this is a waste of time and I'm miserable. What I don't do is rip on the people that seem to genuinely enjoy the farming grind. I respect their efforts, and I move in to what I enjoy (playing the auction house).

IDK, but any video like this brings much more attention and people to any spots in the video too. Anyone using these spots is now going to have many more people there. Just kind of modern gaming culture now how powerful the internet is. Which was NOT the case back during vanilla

well.... as a matter of fact.... i've made thousand of golds thanks too frostadamus. But that doesn't help me compete against Goldbuyers in gbid pugs. Some people are willing to spend 10k+ gold on items WEEKLY like it's nothing. 10k Gold for me takes 50-100 hours to accumulate(depending on weither i have luck to boost a lot of people in zg or not) So yeah His videos are great, but Blizzard doesn't ban players who are cheating and that's the main source of evil in this game.

Dreamfoil on earthshaker EU is between 70gold+ from time to time. Atleast on horde. Arcane crystals 100g+ will ofc drop. Now that ppl going for thunderfury might give up. And people h Attuned for naxx and quit trying to gather mats for t3

Its funny how much cheaper prices are in pve. Plaugebloom caps at 1.5g. Black lotus are 50 gold. Essences of water sit at around 12g. Elemental water maybe 3g. Mountain silversage 70silver and dream foil 1.3g

Agreed im interested in how many people have gotten over the honeymoon phase and will change over to pve in BC. A much smaller world with more competition over excessively limiter resources with faster speed and superior mobility.

This would never be doable on my server, EPL is packed with people farming, lotus bots and people pvp hunting non stop. You could make decent gold but no where near this.

The thorium is probably my high because people are stocking up on the bars. Plate tier gear will requires 20 bars and 20 arcane crystals. I've been slowly buying stuff off the ah since I can't stand farming lol. Glad I did. Arcane crystals are back to around 70g. I bought most for around 38.

Overcrowded servers are killing Classic Some servers have double the population than what we had in Vanilla, but with same spawn rate of flowers, veins and mobs.

@@botvic917 Crafted Weapons and Armor in the long run is not that much farming. Once you've got them the grind is done. With consumables you constantly need them, you still need some in TBC but not as much and for Flasks they are easier to acquire since Fel lotus has a chance of being looted from any Outland herb so no chance at people controlling the market like they do in Classic. On the other hand though you tend to have different pieces of gear for PvE/PvP and need enchants and gems in them which you replace every season/raid tier so there will still be some farming but just not as as much as in Classic. One other thing is that Outland is relatively small compared to Azeroth so the competition for herbs and veins will be even more intense at least on Classic you can solo farm DME for Dreamfoil/Gromsblood/RTV so I certainly expect it to be challenging to be a gatherer in TBC. I'll be going JC in TBC for sure as I remember the insane gold you can make early on if you are one of the lucky ones to get the needed recipes and also you can flip a profit buying ore for cheap to prospect.

People are literally swarming there, fighting for each elemental, not even gonna mention the world PVP ganking aspect. 1358 gold in 4 hours may be right, if you're the only one doing it. Which is impossible sadly. Essence of water was always a pain to farm, and now with Naxx out it's even worse

at this point I'm playing Shadowlands and waiting for TBC Clearly people are tired of farming on overpop servers as in MC and BWL we had 4 full raids every week, in most of AQ we had 3 full raids, now we have 2 raids. Getting new people all the time, but its not enough to stop the leak. At least there is no queues to log in.. (There is a queue for Shadowlands)

playing on faerlina. Pretty crowded. Also on Gehennas eu. You need to have patience and mentally time thorium veins and mob spawn timers. Also be persistent on your grind and never be the first one giving up. I had lots of pvp encounters and deaths, just didnt show them on the video.

He plays on a pretty high pop server. I think the reality is, if you're playing during peak times (as most people do) you're going to have a bad time. My suggestion is log out in the area you want to farm. When you have a free moment, log in and scout the area. If it's swamped, don't waste your time, especially if your time is limited. That's only going to demoralize you.

@Divine Dreaming No, I'm not on crack. I appreciate the gold farming guides but You people need to look at it objectively. If it's highly populated server then it's impossible to farm such frequent area for 4 hours without interference. It's freakin' EPL, not some mid level Shittysville. And waking up in the middle of the night or skip work to farm those things when it's not that crowded isn't really possible for regular people.
