Adding the fence makes your new home absolutely perfect and safe for Sherpie & pals! I can't wait for Key and Jodie to come out for an overnight visit. It's so nice to see how the new home is becoming more and more comfortable and beautiful. Sherpy and Dad are working their way to make all of this happen. The pipe that is loose, you need to get the type of glue for PVC pipes. Put the glue on the inside of one pipe and the outside of the other and dung them together, but before the glue use some sandpaper to clean both pipes inside and outside

I was thinking the same thing. Jaime could put another cane section on the other side of the driveway gate. When putting it up, Jaime could try and position the new canes between the canes on the other side, to fill in the gaps.

Jamie, I feel for you. Our property did not lend itself to fencing, and we are not on a busy road, so hubby was very disinterested in doing anything at all about it. In addition fencing done professionally is very expensive. Over one summer I figured out how to get fencing up and put gates on my porch and deck. I coerced some teenagers (just kidding they don’t do anything they don’t want), and got the yard sorted. In truth it is not attractive, but is mostly covered by hedges anyway. Over the years , once it was up, and later when his dog decided to become a wanderer he became a much bigger proponent.

There is something so peaceful and incredibly satisfying watching Sherpa sleep in the grass of his very own garden. I can imagine you must love watching him! And the fence really was a wonderful upgrade. I had wondered about that access. Now Nook and Key will be safer as well when they visit. Plumbing issues are my husband’s nemesis. He hates having to fix them, though he’s gotten pretty good.
