Hey guys! This is another Outfit From Scratch video in which I make an outfit completely from buying the raw fabric, making the design and getting it stitched by a tailor! This time I making an outfit (pink floral lehenga) for my sister's wedding in February. The wedding season is on and how!

I've been doing outfit from scratch for a long time now! I usually pick my mom's saree and get outfits stitched out of it. I reused an old lehanga to get an indowestern dress. It's great that you could create it as a youtube sensation!!

anjali Menon the rental price for that particular lehenga was 4200 ...she would have to pay 4200 for wearing it for a specific day/ number of days and then return it back to them ...any Mahima Mahajan outfit would have costed her more than 50000 or even more in lacs ..and u are absolutely right she does look gorgeous

The problem with fit is that the armhole is too high, it needs to be deeper n straps to be longer at the front, somewhere around the under arm level.

I got a lehenga stitched for Rs. 4000 and got a dupatta for 1000. The kind of lehengas I liked was way above 10k. Plus there is immense satisfaction in choosing the fabric, customizing the outfit according to your body type and taste.

I really liked this. The fabric is not too flashy and the colour looks so elegant. Besides, the best part is that you can style the top and the skirt separately with western pieces also. It's something you can wear later and not only to a wedding. This is a really cool idea!

Not a fan of this series. You may call it a rendition, but it's more of plagiarism. A problem most designers in India are struggling with especially during the wedding season. You should certainly not encourage this.
