Hello Grandpa! It seems like there might have been an error at the scrapyard with the payment of $2 per pound for the plug ends you sold. They identified the ends as #1 insulated due to the majority of the weight being in copper, even though the sample they checked had a copper connector. Considering that you were instructed to mix both brass and copper ends, I believe they might have overpaid you for the brass ones.

I’m blessed too my yard unloads the scrap with ease. Always have the expert on the crane. No magnet thought but can pick a quarter off the trailer with the claw I swear!
