Thank you for another great episode! About 13 years ago, I took an inaccurate 1991 10/22 out of the closet, dropped a Power Custom trigger & sear kit in the action, an improvement from the cast parts' fit and friction, had the barreled action front counterbore machined (rechambered and tuned with the bolt mods), added a Hogue overmolded stock and refurbed Nikon 4x32 scope, and it turned out 3/8" groups at 50 yards. My daughter shot it during a Labor Day weekend Appleseed event, and impressed the volunteer coaches and instructors as it was her first experience shooting a firearm. I was happy, and did OK using my early FN-made Browning T-Bolt. Since we're left-eyed and right-handed, we shoot long guns left-handed. The semi-auto .22 LR is a little faster than the straight-pull bolt... I just bought a pair of Thorogood waterproof work boots for this winter and this family's happy that there's still a shoe company in Wisconsin that hasn't been sold to owners outside the state or country. It's good to learn about all the outdoor products still made in the north. Thanks again! (Based on what it takes to make cast aluminum and old steel parts function smoothly and accurately, the new tech Magnum Research product is well worth the money.)

Just a quick question do they make a suppressed version of the 22magnum to quiet the sound a little ?

Only the .22LR is offered with a suppressed barrel. 22 Magnum has now been discontinued.

Well, graphite swells and shrinks less than steel does with temp changes... so I imagine a few hundred degrees higher and lower than you'll ever see on planet earth. Lol
