I love my Goodtime banjo!

What I love the most about Deering is that they have a model for every playing level. You can buy an amazing banjo from them for $500 and you can buy an amazing $10,000 banjo from them. One thing you know immediately though. These are no cookie cutter instruments. You can tell a lot of love and care goes into making these. Oh, and as a lefty player, Deering gets my hearty stamp of approval. I do not know of another banjoy player that offers a right handed or a left handed setup on most of their models. Deering does and they do not charge extra for this service.

I'm in England and if I ever get to the States ,Deering is on my visit list. I love their outlook & vibe & best of all my Gootime open back is a rare example nowadays of real good value for money. Mine is the bottom of their range but is made with same care as big price models. Can't praise Deering enough!

good post, good website, notice how they perpetrated the lie that the banjo is african. Its actual origins are Persia and with the spread of Islam, went to Africa. It was only brought over by the slaves, not created by them. They're just to ignorant to conceive such a musical instrument.

You're wrong. Are you still a racist moron all these years later?

@@HunterPrestonBluegrass racism is defined as prejudice, discrimination, or antagonization towards a race. I stated that slaves from africa were too ignorant to invent the banjo, nowhere did I mention the race of the slaves. Also, africans are indeed too ignorant to create complex musical instruments, agriculture, stone work, or tools. their civilization has barely reached the stone age today. However, africans and blacks create some of the most beautiful music on earth
