Generally in those days, there was a lot of discrimination(or kind of making fun of) towards andhra students who went to other places to study. So the lyrics are like we are not less, We are capable,sensible, no need to have a well built body and other stuff(The ones they show in the start of the video) but a good heart and guts makes us great students, etc.. So again this was kind of to motivate students . He has always done songs to cater for social causes.
