India should invite indian private and public sectors to bid for development of such a passenger aircraft…order should be confirmed with a ratio of 60 to 40%
@biswajitpattanaik826818 күн бұрын
This is the same RTA70L90 Program which is now easily 15-16 years old & that time the projection for such aircraft for India was around 500 or something! And guess what most of those projected sales have already gone to ATR & its variants! Successive Govts have only slept on this proposal, when the market is already gone & even their replacement is going to ATR & the likes!

Starts are always very ambitious, but delivery time line, poor planning and technical gaps always leads to frustrating excuses. Tejas, MRFA, TedBF, AMCA …just some examples of this exhaustive list.

@IamSuperman154 I am saying buying the whole company. They are looking for investment and we have requirement. We can buy out the company and get our military aircraft as well as small passenger aircraft. Government, indian private firm and probably partnership with other countries can buy out the embrare company.
@IamSuperman15418 күн бұрын
@@bhikariman-sigmamale If this was that easy. Well, I understand your point now. But I don't think India can buy out the whole company as all countries treasure the Aircraft tech very dearly.

Brain Drain is the biggest issue. Once talent is nurtured they prefer to go other countries or just give up due to lobby or reservation systems. When a street panipuri vendor earns 7 times more than Aeronautical Engineering private job, what else do you expect.

If you need to be graduate then you have to start from KG…in the process of graduation you too took almost 20 years of life…same is the case with Tejas Development…India developed a range of missile technology but cant a world level fighter jet…bcz it i very sophisticated technology and no major world power want to share its ToT…India build Tejas from Scrap designed its parts and tools…but this gave India its experience now new Jet can be developed in 5-10 year span bcz of experience get in developing Tejas!

Country like USA takes 20 years to develop any prototype of Airoplane China takes 12 years and launched it successfully within 20 years and going further step by step continuously. But India without any such resources,skills,and methodologies it will not be possible before 30 years atleast. It will take easily 10 years to build a resource for its development including its base etc.

Selling dreams is all v seem to be able to do. This looks like another painfully long drawn process that will end up being outdated before the prototype is even rolled out. I dunno y v don’t seem to understand a basic fact : if u want to leapfrog to self sufficiency in tech u have to go for non linear solns like what China did . They sponsored students to go abroad and bring back the entire research ecosystem rather than just trained individuals. And they funded it massively with deficit financing or printing notes . That’s the only way v will finally make it to the big leagues . If u rely on the old model of raising taxes , balancing the books and targeting fiscal deficit u will never make it to the top even in another 100 yrs.
