Ha ha, I love it! My colleague found the video for me. I am the "European" prince 1:39/4:19. The shoot was so much fun, and Alisha was extremely nice. I was a student visiting Mumbai at the time for six weeks. The casting agents, Leo and Johnny, would visit the youth hostel daily looking for foreigners for small parts in various Bollywood projects. We used to get BTV signal from our Antena on the rooftop in my village around 30 KM away from the Bangladesh Border. I still remember some nice ads from Bangladesh, some are funny though. The ad for Keya soap with 4 actresses Shami, Mimi, Bipasha and Mou, etc. Also, 1 No. pocha shaban. Another one, chhilla kaitta lobon lagai dimu, forgot the name of the brand. I am surprised to hear that it was popular in 2000. Since this song was released in 1995. It was a big hit that very year in India. Those were days before Internet and piracy. So independent artists like Alisha, Sonu Nigam, Shaan and others could release songs on their own and make money, everyone had to buy cassettes. They did not have to sing in movies. That is why you will see hundreds of cult classics from 90s all independent albums. Now with piracy it's not possible, one person will buy song, rest all will copy. That is why all singers went to sing as playback singers in Movies. There will never be a era like 90s. There is undescribable charm where you have no internet, no phones, and no way to listen to your favorite song, except when it plays on TV.
