Keep up these live feeds please..I have never come out and said anything but I have gone through a lot and currently and listening to you is really helping me to make that step (again..) ..you and your brother truly inspire me. I enjoy your fb posts as well im on there as rebecca lynn on fb vs my KZbin name here but keep taking care, it does get easier it just takes soooo long, but you dont get addicted overnight, so unfortunately as much as we want that instant gratification of feeling just "normal" again like we are used too, it isnt goin to go like that have to put in the work. My youngest son's dad tries to hold down life, court cases, police looking for him all while being a none functioning addict. I've always been a functioning addict, kept my job, kept my house/ kids/ car etc.. he's a nightmare I can't help him no more got my own shit

And that feeling of gratitude for your mom ( im a mom of kids a lil younger than yall) that gratitude that love that you have for her SHOW HER as much as you can. Coming from a mother....the amount of guilt a mothers heart holds for her young when they’re effed up does not even compare.

Ya all these people that r saying 24hrs till subs of H or fent r out of there minds ya maybe if ur not using everyday and only do a tenth or two a day but if ur a gram or more user a day listen to kurt he knows what he is talking about 3 days is even pushing it fr I waiting 4 days and it worked but I still didnt feel great when I got off if u really want it those 3 to 4 days is worth it then only stay on subs for no note than 2 weeks if u really want it...

I’ve been sober from opiates, alcohol and benzos for 6 years now. My brother that’s three years older than me is still out there using and been mixing it all with speed the last two years... I’ve tried showing him this channel a year or so ago but he’s never watched any of it. I just know if he’d watch your videos right now it would help him. I pray every single day he wakes up and just wants to be done with the shit man... I’m so glad you’re making it Kurt. You got this. And the way you describe tour mom dude, is exactly how ours is. Her health right now is the worst it’s ever been and she’s not gonna be around much longer and she’s all we got.. and she blames herself every, single, day for all of our addictions. I hate it so much.

If you go 4 day's why would you want to go onto Suboxone? That's another journey to hell im speaking from experience I done the Methadone that ended badly has did subs. When you go 4 days your near has over 1 of the 1st bumps basicly white knuckle it and yeah it will hurt no doubt but there's no easy way around the withdrawals YES you can ease them a little fr but still never going to be painless That's just the way it goes. Lyrica can help so can sleep aids but they'll have you still feeling like the living dead. The time to do the jump is when your young and your body can take the paining pls do it before you get in your 40's and it's kicked the life outta you Physically and mentally. 🙏 for all going through this battle right now.

Yes agreed, almost 3 years clean from 12 years of any kind of painkillers i could get my hands on plus what I was subscribed and 2 1/2 years of suboxone and yes I abused the suboxone too bc it did give me a good feeling. Took me almost a year to get straight from cold turkey. The first month was the worst for me and it got better by the month I would say. I was in my early 40's and it sucked but after about my 10th shower one day, I broke down crying in the shower and asked God to give me strength and I'm not really even religious but it worked for me better than any of the over the counter stuff. Stay the course and it will pass.

I gave up subs without any comfort meds in Feb last year... tough after getting below 1mg... but having gone thru all that, I'd never want to go thru it again and haven't been tempted fur that reason either. Great to be free...
