Hi from Montreal enjoy your videos. Funny you were mentioning how far south you've driven. In 1970 I drove down to Mexico from Montreal with a friend also you mentioned 2009 to 2024 . My wife had a brain aneurysm in 2009 and was paralyzed till her passing away on January 31, 2024. I was her caregiver for 15 years. I miss Louise. We went on long trips together Florida quite often . There's an empty place next to me when I'm driving. Sad. Well I'm wishing you health and happiness and take care.

Austin is the capital of Texas. In fact, at about 25:45 of this vlog, the capital building was about 4 blocks to your right. Austin is a good size city, but it is comparatively small. Greater Austin has 2.28 million people, but that is small when you compare it to the Dallas Fort Worth metroplex with 6.39 million or greater Houston with 7.12 million. You do not want to see Austin in the daylight. I-35 is a parking lot from one end to the other. When you think of Texas, think warm Alberta. Texas makes their money from oil and cattle. Texas is comparable in size as each of the prairie provinces.

We travel a lot in the US and find it just as secure as anywhere in Canada. Visited friends that spent their winters in Edinburg right on the Mexican border in Texas. Felt just as safe there as anywhere. Sure there are areas that you don’t want to venture into but we have them in Canada. Driving to Florida next week and Arizona in February . I recognize most of your landmarks. I find it funny that you won’t pay $8. to a business but will drive a W 900 that gives about the worst fuel economy out there.😊

In Europe: you have to pay to park, unless you have dinner or a "triple S". Than they reimburse you your parking ticket. We also have gated security parking. For if you haul high value goods, or you have an expensive show truck.

Texas state slogan is actually Friendship . i had to google why though tbh LOL. Texas from Tejas the spanish pronunciation of the local indian tribe's word teyshas or thecas meaning friendship or allies !!!!! . a lot of welcome to Texas signs also have don't mess with Texas ( which they meant don't litter ) but was given a diff meaning .PS: you gonna really love traffic during the day !!!

I drive a cargo van--nothing even close to what you're driving-and I get annoyed at drivers that want to drive in formation at your side. Lead, follow, or get out if the way! 😂 I have a delivery route in the Joplin, Missouri area. We're based out of Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Josh, your night mode on that GoPro is actually really solid. I personally have Zero complaints. And next time you come down go through Dallas on 35 E and through Austin at the North or Sputh end stay Right. That will take you up on the upper ramps. When I hit Austin Inise the upper ramps. Prettier views and fewer exists to deal with merging traffic. Also the “Express Lanes” or “Toll Road” in Dalls and all of TX is called T Tag, TX Tag and also verify with your company but I believe the order blue EZ Pass are comparable with TTag and KPass (KY). I know that the Long Whote “Elite” bar is comparable with all the states now. Even SC, NC, GA and FL as well as NY and the Burrows.

Hi Josh, just to let you know that diesel in the UK is roughly, cos we do GBP per litre and it’s complicated arithmetic, about 9 USD per gallon. Please stop banging on about Canadian prices! 😢

Hello Josh. In Spain at a cheap company's gas station, a liter of diesel costs 1.33 Euros. At Repsol or Campsa gas stations (the most common companies) the price per liter of diesel is approximately 1.55 euros.

Here’s a tip for when driving through DFW, the express lanes you were talking about do not charge vehicles with out of state license plates. I drive on them all the time with my Saskatchewan plates and have never paid a cent.

Yes you were on 35w through Fort Worth, 35 E goes through Dallas and each is close to 100 miles long. Tex express lanes are quite costly
