UPDATE….12/1/22 my order arrived! It was intact and my products were beautiful (as expected). Won’t be ordering from any UK shops for quite some time as this was way too long for my taste. September to December … that’s too long for stickers.

I feel it’s only fair to give you an explanation of the shop and what is happening with my order.
If the situation comes to a resolution then I’m able to delete this from the description box and not have it imbedded in the video for all eternity.
The shop is josephinebow.com/ and I ordered…reusable sticker book and some kits, acetate and vellum. She has beautiful things with amazing designs. I ordered 9/18/22 and it shipped on 10/11/22. A very long wait time but all within the times that is stated at the top of her website. I’ve purchased one time before this from her on Etsy. As I stated in the video I chose to have it ship Standard International Shipping which was the cheapest. When it shipped I did not receive a shipping notification. As I’m typing this now it’s 11/11/22 so it’s been a month since it shipped. Around week three I got concerned but thought I’d give it a few more days. On 11/8/22 I sent a DM to her asking what does she do when this type of situation occurs with a possible lost order? I waited over 24 hours with no response and then emailed her through her website (11/9/22). About 12 hours later I received a “I will look into this….” Message and then another day before I heard back stating that international shipping can take up 35 days and wished me well hoping my order would arrive soon. My response to that last email was that her site in the FAQ section states that international shipping is 3-17 business days and that maybe she should take a look at that and change it. It was also explained to me that they are having postal issues with strikes. Which I responded that to protect her in business maybe then NO TRACKED shipping should not be an option for the customers. I have not received a response. As stated in the video I should have 100% chosen tracked shipping and will never NOT order from a shop without that. I have to say that from all my years of ordering from privately owned sticker businesses this has been the slowest customer service I’ve ever received. I will keep all of you posted if my order ever shows up.
I also want to add that I did not ask for a refund or a replacement. I just asked what is her process when faced with possible lost international orders.
And for awhile now in the UK there have been issues with their postal system with strikes. Maybe this should be something that a UK shop should mention. Maybe UNTRACKED International shipping should not be offered. If I were a sticker shop owner I would want to protect myself from this. And given the proper information I probably would have chosen differently when placing my order.

You can save your empty sticker sheets too, to reuse. Punch them and put in a book. Then you don’t have to purchase reusable sheets.

@@talksfromtheheart I think she may have been referring to the empty sheets - for example the Pookie Bear bundles that you have used up? The only issue that I can think of with reusing these is that they are only single-sided and usually thinner than the ones you find in reusable sticker books.

Robin you’re a girl after my own heart, I bought the 100 pack of the sticker paper for $21 on Amazon and I kept it at the 8.5 x 11 size, added happy planner disks like you did and even used an old big happy planner cover, made my own sections as well and made my own sticker book just like you. I got annoyed by the sticker books not being expandable and having to move stickers around if I needed to add more stickers to a section and having no space. My book is so big I need to use the expander disks but I love that I have ALL of my left over stickers from kits in one place. It’s a beast to move around but I love it!!!

Here is another way to make a sticker book and what I have done, is when you order stickers and you are almost done with the page, take all the extra trimming off the page and punch holes in that sheet and put it in your books. It already has had stickers on it, and you end up throwing the page away, so why not use it in your sticker books! This way, I have been able to save money and upcycle as well. I always look forward to your videos. And I am so glad you posted this because the struggle is real, I was just in the process of reorganizing my stickers when I saw that you were doing the same thing! Thank you for your honesty in all of your videos!

You are so right about stores not being the same. Rachel was saying the same thing in her last video about how she used to spend a day out shopping and having lunch and it was fun! The stores where I live seem to have very little in stock so I end up having to order online. It’s more convenient, but I do miss doing holiday shopping in stores like we used to.

I was able to make that kind of cover by purchasing cutting mats from Dollar Tree and cutting then down, punching the holes and rounding the corners. They come 3 in a pack and are the size of a kitchen table placemats. Since it’s Dollar Tree it was only a Dollar. Probably $1.25 now. I will be ordering the reusable sticker sheets to make my own book.

Hey Robin, I had the same issue with JBD, I place an order and it took over a month and half to get to me in GA. I was concerned and emailed her and was told to wait. My package came literally the next week after emailing her. If you ordered sticker books she most proabably put it into a box so its secured and safe. I hope you get your package and she was super nice through email and stated she would replace the items if I dont receive them within 3 months. Dont worry lady! Im sure it will arrive soon. :)

I only use the small 3 ring binders now. They are quick, easy and cheap. Plus they stand on their own and I decorate them for the month. I have a sticker on the binding with whats in each one.

Girl I am in the exact same boat! Been waiting almost 2 months for my sticker book and dividers from Josephine Bows. I finally broke down and ordered one from Shine Sticker Studio and it came in like 3 days.

Weirdly enough I ordered other things from the UK ON THE SAME DAY that arrived in like a week or two. Josephine Bows definitely has the LONGEST processing/shipping times I've ever experienced, which is a shame because I love her stuff so much. But I know I'll always have to order like 3 months in advance. I just hope I get my Advent on time!

Hi Robin, great video. Recently I retired and began the lengthy process of cleaning (out) my craft cave, which meant I purged so much it was scary. Anyway, You say you have an obscene amount of stickers, well I had TONS of the small sticker sheets, so I went to Dollar Tree and bought a bunch of 4 x 6 photo albums with 24 or more pages where they either open from the top or the side and created one or more for each shop. They are pretty fat but it works for me. I also bought ringed sticker books with sticker release paper in A5 and A6 from AliExpress but have not started using them yet.

Tracked shipping doesn't always help. I ordered from Hobonichi in Japan, with tracked shipping from FedEx, and it was a total mess. 3 days to get from Japan to the closest big city in my state; 3 *weeks* to get it the next 30ish miles down the road. First, they claimed they couldn't deliver it to me because I had moved (news to me) and then, when I got tired of arguing with them and asked them to bring it to the closest drop-off station to my house so I could go collect it, it took them another week to get it there.

I’ve moved into discbound for my planning. I was in a B6 Stalogy for 3 years and I loved it, but hated that there was so much older information that I had to pack around with me. Now on disc’s I can archive monthly. Or even weekly or whatever. Disc’s are so much easier to use than rings, coils or bound books. So much more freedom. You can flip it back on itself no problem.

@@talksfromtheheart I loved my stalogy so much I ordered a new notebook for next year months ago, then changed my mind 😆. I’m thinking I'll use it as a diary/journal. But who knows. Something else I’ve been doing is dismantling partially used notebooks with paper I liked and trimming the pages down to size and using them up. Not all my old abandoned notebooks have “good paper”, or the pages are too small, so I might leave them alone. But anything with blank pages that I did enjoy writing on, just not the size or the cover is on the dismantling list. Used pages will be bundled together by year and archived with a big binder clip. Then the covers will be tossed. Notebooks I don’t dismantle I usually use up eventually with layout mock-ups.

Just wanted to say if you’re in the boat of not getting your JBD order, you’re not alone! I’m still waiting on mine! It’s been almost 2 months, which would of been fine, but it’d of been nice to get a mass email warning of what was happening or something. Plus I ordered prior strikes as well. And their current processing time now is only 3-4weeks.

Funny...mines been about 3 months. Told it shipped Aug 25....she said it shipped but she told me that I didn't ask for tracking. Which I'm positive I did. All while saying items shipped. While I was looking through my orders on Esty it asked if I wanted to resolve an issue so I requested a refund. No communication of any kind after request sent. About a week later I got notification that the order was canceled and a refund was issued. Now the items in my purchased list is gone. So I pretty sure items were never sent.

I had something similar happen to me. I ordered something from Sweden, and after 3 months it still didn't come. I also did not get tracking, and I knew it was not her fault it was missing. I reached out to her, and she was so kind to ship me the same order again. Thankfully I got that one. I knew she didn't have to do that, so I was so glad that she did.

It is really frustrating when post doesn't arrive when it should. I live in the UK and this week we had no post for about two days. They need to work on the backed up post now. Today I had several deliveries but I'm still waiting for a number of orders. One of my items has gone missing as well so I can fully sympathise with you. I hope yours turns up, and mine too! I did this year's ago but out grew it. But if you don't have a laminator for 75 cents you can use clear laminate rolls you get 9 yards. Just cut off the size you need.

I subscribe to Sterling Ink and Sweet Kawaii design, I just received yesterday my Sterling Ink Dec kit so that was quick but I am still waiting on SKD they usually arrive close together. Levenger and Tul has the disc system. I made my own sticker book using the sheet after all the stickers are used, gluing two together so I have front and back, punch holes and put in my ring binder. Yours looks better tho 😅
