Being so much older then I expected to be, there are lots of regrets. This episode hits the heart very dramatically. Having had a very poor up bringing and neglectful parents there wasn't much family devotion. Having to do things for myself since 9 years old doesn't let you trust anyone growing up. Been a LONER since with everything I've ever done. Devoted to my wife. Raised 3 kids in the 2sty.,4bdrm, w/family rm and ovesize garage w/rm overhd. house that I built by MYSELF AND THEN LOST IT IN THE DIVORCE. Because she left to be with a married man... that dumped her almost as soon as she had moved out. REGRETS of WHAT IF'S...... They will NEVER just go away..... If those people that DIDN'T make it out of there SO WHAT...... If ALL your dreams can come true for the rest of your life with any of the one you love and care for WHY NOT????? At least if they are your dreams no one is going to try to back stab you, hurt you or leave you... If you can be as happy as you can possibly be it shouldn't make a difference WHERE it is. I would rather grow old and die happy living my dreams than alone with so many regrets...

Well it's a good thing that this is just an illusion of MC Han Li changing the past years regrets he encountered before hundreds of years and predicts the future, like how he never went to the Yellow Maple Valley, never wanted a goal for achieving the hardships of becoming an Immortal Cultivator, lived a life as a mortal and both marry and have a family as a mortal, changing his best friend Zhang Tie as a Martial Artist than becoming a human puppet, instead of meeting his family because of his younger sister in her wedding day that Han Li later on walked away from it and instead he meets them later on, Han Li never met his future wife Nangong Wan, never met Wang Ning or Yuan Yao, never joined any future sect, never achieved the Foundation Establishment and he only stayed in Qi Refining Realm 13th Stage, these are all choices that he'll encounter to pass the Third Trial and yet he passes it after that. However, MC Han Li will one day encounter the exact same situation of this where he will also be in the same illusion in the future episodes, as Han Li will try to breakthrough at Grand Ascension Realm, his inner demon tried to control and lose his insanity of failing the breakthrough, but Han Li broke everything and buried everything he had in the past in his own heart as they were just memories and he'd rather move on be an Immortal Cultivator in the future of his life.
