Co-founder of SeaLegacy, a US-based nonprofit organisation, Andy's work is driven by a deep passion to document and protect the world’s marine environments.

Launched in 2021, VECLAM is a vital conservation effort orchestrated by the Institute for Nature Conservation and Forests in Madeira to protect the monk seals. The organisation enhances the monk seal’s natural habitats, assesses threats to their survival and engages local communities to protect this species across the Madeira archipelago.
