At what time did u usually go hiking? Since there aren‘t a lot of people with you ☺️

Hello, In general, we started earlier and tried to avoid guided tours, which usually start around 9 AM. So, we were usually on the trail by around 7-8 AM. Regarding Pico to Pico, we were there very early, before dawn, and there were already a lot of people. We noticed that there was less crowd when we were returning in the afternoon than in the morning (probably because people don’t start due to the heat). Lastly, we did some levadas one after another, so we also hiked in the afternoon, and the crowds were also somewhat smaller then. Whether it was luck or people don’t start hiking in the afternoon, we are not shure. :)
