5k toys has an interesting approach for this tortoise line or whatever they're calling it. I wish I were in on this from the beginning. I didn't buy Samurai Spring because I couldn't get over one thing. The mixed media for the belt threw me off. I didn't like that the belt was plastic, molded onto the figure but the loose ends were cloth. It doesn't seem like anyone else minds that, though.

Glad somebody is giving us figures to pair with the Mezco turtles besides Mezco. Crocker (Leatherhead) from Maestro Union is another good one.

I love this realistic take on the characters. Out of the Shadows was not the best movie ever, but it was pretty much what I wanted Secret of the Ooze to be. This is going to match well with the NECA movie turtles, Wilderness Crocker, and all the FuRay Planet figures. Modern, or ancient warrior.

Not-Bebop looks amazing. It didn't occur to me initially to group it with the Mezco boys, but it really works. I wonder how Mezco Casey works in that pairing

Man, I've been wanting a super-detailed and realistic TMNT line for so long! Between this line and a couple figures from Furay Planet, it feels like it's coming together. Not sure if NECA's ever going to pursue their "movie realization" line. We haven't heard anything on that for a long time. I have a feeling they might not have poured the resources into it to give us something like this anyway, but I hope I'm wrong.

I've been fortunate to he able to get 2 of every figure in this line so far as decided to display them in both samurai & TMNT looks - because they look so good and good be my favourite looking turtles ever. So hoping they'll do at least Rocksteady, April & Shredder then I'll be super happy to finish the line at that point. But we'll see how far they go with this but just need Raphael at least

At least with your unpacking it could be a good time to update your shelfs or make dioramas for them. Your room looks like it has a lot of light so you could get white shelfs and not have to see a lot of dust and put lights in. but as always thanks for the video we missed you while you were moving and not putting as many videos up. This bebop looks great. Super large. But does remind me more of the movie bebop then the classic maybe its just the belly. Can't wait to see Raph and hoping we get a Rocksteady. After those two not sure what else were get for this line. How about some female characters maybe a April, Mona Lisa, Vensa, Jennika, or april as a female turtle like in the archie comics turned into the fifth turtle for one episode.

I agree with you on Splinter. He looked much better in the promo shots. Still happy to have him, but he’s more of an accessory in a scene to me. A Google search of Gullinbursti says that name is a Norse golden boar. Seems an odd naming choice for an Asian themed line in their initial clothing/gear.

I'm worried that we won't see any other mutants in the mezco line.. I for sure expect a april, shredder and maybe foot. But they'd need all new molds for the mutants. Although I think they could bash a mondo gecko with some parts they already have. I'd love to see more mutants tho

I couldn't tell, but it seemed like maybe they were teasing Foot in some of the Casey Jones photos. As far as new sculpts for mutants, seems like TMNT is a license to print money for them, maybe even more so than some other brands. They could probably throw up a few thousand more 4packs & sell through them in an hour tops.

@ioncewasmikey oh the first tmnt set is basically printing money. I hope they do more so we can get newer molds. The images were in hand d amazing pics with mezcos photoshop of some basic ninjas but hopefully it was a hint. We will prob know more of what they plan to do at sdcc and their concurrent mezco con event

I don't know how deep or far out they'd go with mutants though, because they do tend to rely on pretty traditional bucks for all their figures.

There's definitely a Mirage vibe in Mezco's TMNT line, so I have a feeling we won't be seeing a ton of crazy mutants. Somehow it seems like the cartoon set was a one-off, but I could be wrong! I hope I'm wrong, in fact. 😁
