You can visit any time between 6.30 am and 8.30pm on the booking date. Booking is not mandatory. You don’t need to wait in the long queue if you book the darsan

Opening timings of Madurai Meenakshi temple is from 5 AM to 12.30 PM. It again opens for darshan at 4 PM to 9.30 PM.
