Theoretically, u can't get pregnant during periods. The ovum doesn't exist anymore, life span of ovum is just 12 to 24 hrs. Majority ovulate on 14th day of their cycle, if doesn't get fertilized within 12 -24 hrs it dies and endometrial lining starts shedding, that's ur period blood.
