My family roots were in administration, banking, and teaching for three generations in Uganda. Many Africans felt that Indians (Muindi) held them back, which was untrue, but they had not reached an educated critical mass to run the country. Adi Amin took power and destroyed the infrastructure not knowing what he was doing. Indians did more for the black Ugandans than the white British ever did.

I have something to add as an Indian descendent living in Africa. Son of an indentured Indian sugar cane labourer. We were the poorest of the poor, having to walk 15 km to school and another 15 kms back home 5 days a week. We were 5 Indian families and the rest were Black. All my best friends were Black and we grew up together, all suffering the same poverty levels. By working hard at school and even harder still in my working life I uplifted my life to what it is today, I live a very comfortable life in a beautiful house . Other Indian families also moved ahead in life. There are no Indian labourers in the sugar fields anymore. Sorry to say that, I didn't see that happening to my black friends. They just stayed poor to average, no will to get any better in life. What I am trying to get across here is that Indians are hard working people, that is why they prosper in life.

Mr Madhvani was the last to leave Uganda when Amin exiled Indians. When The President The Hon. Moseveni made the call for Indians to return to Uganda. He was the first.

Islam brought India to AKHAND BHARAT. Before that , there were privy purses , small kings with small states fighting eachother 😊. Willingly, 95% population was not given access to education. Sati pratha, dev dasi culture prevailing in order to exploit thier own Hindus by Brahmins . Islam brought LIGHT to such society . Gave them Justice, access to education, development, management, Administration and lot more. Under muslim rule , India's GDP was 25% of total world GDP .
