السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته Ustadh, you mentioned for example أنا ابن, you don’t stretch because the ا because of the two sukoons meeting, I know the ب has a sukoon which other letter has the sukoon. جزاك الله خيرا

Maybe أنا isn't a good example for this because the alif is omitted regardless of whether there's a sukoon after it or not. The alif is only read when pausing on this word. والله أعلم

السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته What's the difference between the 2 sentences in 32:53. The first one doesn't have ال While the 2nd it has. I became confused because the possessed(mudhaf) doesn't take ال but in the 2nd it has.

وعليكم السلام ورحمة الله وبركاته In this one (قلم خالد) we have mudhaf, mudhaf ilayhi. In this one (هذا القلم) al-qalam is badal (substitute) for هذا, meaning you can remove either word هذا/القلم and the meaning remains unchanged: هذا لخالد القلم لخالد The pen belongs to khalid
