I'm a huge Madison fan, but I appreciate your honest reactions a lot. Many people don't really listen to the music when it comes to those reactions and just say good things for clicks, but you really give us reasoning what you don't like, what you'd like her to do differently etc. It's very refreshing! You should check out her EP "As She Pleases". Her vocals are stronger on that one. Also on "Hurts Like Hell" and All Day n Night" (it's more of an EDM track, her vocals sound powerful)

She is a coproducer on every single song she puts out (including her Album) so that‘s just her style and one of the things I like most about her music so I think changing that would feel in authentic as well just like switching to country and jazz

some more info about her, she released her first EP in 2020 and her song "i miss you im sorry" blew up and later inspired drivers license by olivia rodrigo, she just released good riddance this year and has become apples #1 emerging artist of this year, rolling stone has called the album timeless and one of the best debuts of all time. and she is currently on tour with taylor swift as her opening act. if you would like some song recommendations if you dont want to jump into her album right away id be happy to recommend some

Ok so with madisons new album being released I think you’d like Ryder, nothing matters but you, at your worst, envy the leaves (only upto 2:54) I actually think you’d like most of her new album but those songs have very hard hitting lyrics with basically no production

I like Madison and some of her songs, but for me personally it lacks something. Maybe Im just used to strong songs and a little more upbeat. I can understand why some people like her songs but its not my cup of tea
