I love how this song can be used for gospel influence as well as worldly love. I do think it was meant to be a love song (because in the second verse she says “baby” which you don’t normally hear in the gospel genre) but I see so many use it to express profound love for someone who has passed and spiritually will still be with them. Either way this song is gold. You can feel this song.
