love that there aren't props all over the place. a genuine DCI show. Refreshing. Love it.

That drill at 3:19 was some of the coolest stuff I’ve ever seen.

Unless there are a crap load of props cluttering up the field (and ruining the visual aspect of drill formations), you recite poetry, sing in a microphone, and/or use synthesizers, you can't survive with the judges in today's DCI. I was a part of DCI in some form or another from 1979 - 2005. I'm just now seeing some shows on YT for the first time in years. The kids today are very talented. They're great. But the power, visual clarity, and fan-oriented shows are a thing of the past. I admired Scott Stewart (former Scouts Director) for not caving in to the changes that took place that have made corps more synthetic and bland. Though this Madison show is a little muddier than in their glory days, I really enjoyed it!

yesorlando05 agree - there must have been rule changes since saw live in Madison in 1999

This does not have the entertainment and wow factor that Jesus Christ Superstar had when I last saw live at finals in 1999

The Scouts may be the only reason I go and see a DCI show next year. God bless Chuck Naffier. He wrote the book for the 2011 Crossmen show I marched, and he's one of the few people who can still write comprehensible charts.

Dude this is absolutely perfect. Good uniforms, clean drill, no props, no sound effects and voices. We could do without the trombone though.

Imagine when the season was almost 4 weeks longer and almost twice as many competitions? Stuff like the meat grinder at 3:30 could have looked so much better.

Crazy wonderful drill!. Not the best show I've ever seen but underrated, in my opinion.
