Thank you for your words of encouragement. I will be a novice teacher hopefully in the fall of this year. You must always remember that your contributions as a teacher is uniquely you and beneficial to the students as long as you have passion and care for your students; you will do everything and find every resource that you think can best aide in their learning and understanding. Stressing change nothing for the better, simply do your best. Divine confirmation.🙌🏽

This looks beautiful! Maybe in the safe seat corner you could also get some other things which might help a student slow down and calm down. A bottle filled with colored oil and water which you can shake and then watch settle. One of those handheld pinwheels that blowing on spins (forces deep breath). Maybe some Aaron’s thinking putty and a weighted stuffed animal. All could help regulate the nervous system:)

Just an idea for the name game. (How I play). I am the first and last person in the game; It helps me learn their names and helps students learn turn taking. I also allow one kid to attempt to name the whole circle. (I offer a reward after they complete the circle). If no one offers, then the game is over and we return to our seats to start the next activity. We played the game in my college advanced accounting class, our professor had us write down an adjective and our first name so mine was "Courageous Catherine". This works really well for older kids but writing the names down helps kids make the name connection and it helps because no one talks except for the person saying the names. If a child gets stuck, the "unknown" student lifts their paper to help move the game.

Great Vlog I gave my students, student numbers every year no one ever forgot their number. I had name cards on their desks that included their student number. There student numbers were but on all their notebooks and workbooks. I had them put their student # one all their papers. I would always say do not forget to put name, number and date on all papers. I assigned one Student to collect papers as a job and put them in number order for me. They they would tell me who didnt had their paper in. If a child was absent would put the work in their numbered mailbox. It made my life much easier. When I checked paper it was so much easier to mark off in grade book. Have a great year!
@jamesvolpe74742 жыл бұрын
@@Luxmiix I never had an issue remembering their names because I gave them numbers #. It made teaching so much more organized. I always knew who did not hand in assignments quicker then if they just put their names. Their names were alphabetized by first time before giving them numbers. A teacher friend did it that way, I questioned her at first, after using that strategy to alphabetize students by first name. It helped get me so much more organized. The kids knew each other's numbers. I promise you, if you try it you will end up loving it!

Your grades don’t need to be perfect. You need to go to college and you’ll usually need a bachelors degree.
@marissakeepstheheat23 жыл бұрын
In college, for your basics you just need to pass with a C. Once you’re in the classes required specific to teaching, B is required (at least for me in Texas). To become a teacher, you will need a bachelors degree and pass your certification exams.
