You play video games, some more than others, some you play one time because that's the way you play them, it's a full adventure story or else; there are other video games like fighting games or online games you continue playing because it's an everyday activity. And there are video games, you play them, you come back regularly because there is a story mode and a cute yellow bird on rollerjets and a Moogle who is a bit of a con artist and they go on an adventure racing other equally charismatic characters. It is a bit childish-looking and you're a teenager but you know this game because you discovered Final Fantasy and Square and you love the universe and Chocobo! You love the karting, the fan service, the soundtrack (the cute lalala song), the big Bahamut that is less menacing than you thought. And in the end comes this song and this ending. This player is me and when i saw this ending, i was very sad because despite the song (english version) being all friendly - granted that i didn't know english much at the time so i couldn't understand the lyrics, i was so sad to say goodbye to them. The game was over, i was so moved that all of them would appear on the screen one last time before the song ends and the 'See you again'. And it's a minor game compared to blockbusters. Chocobo Racing remains one of my cherished memories in video game.

Replaying this game after I don't know how many years have passed.. I have to say .. old stories are really the best. While stories nowadays make us feel like, dominant happy, dominant sad, this story.. THIS VERY STORY, I don't know. How should I feel? Sad, because the magic stones are no longer needed? Sad, because we can no longer play their adventures? Or happy, because Fantasia and RL are connected once more? Happy, because they are still going to adventures? Well, one thing I can say, I will be sad. Because their plane will not be at the sky. We can't wave at them and say, "Howdy". That's how I am feeling. Damn it.
