I will vouch for customer from Mad Katz. i own 6 mad katz rods i mainly target big alligator gar, i hooked int a big 7 footer the rod was a 7-6 mh orange crush . i got her about 5 foot from the bank when she come out of water did a 360 my rod twisted all funy my rod was loaded and snapped about the 3 eylet down. this was more my fault as i didn go with her and kept muscling her. one i got home i called mad katz explined what happened . i sure wasnt ready for them to say we will get you a replacement. within 5 days my new hevy action showed up. their customer service is top notch and ill be buying more of them

Naw there rods are known for snapping while casting and breaking right near that 3-4 eye. Get you a rod that’s going to respond rather than be stiff. Carbon composite beats glass any day.

Ive seen alot of the hellcats snap just boat flippin the fish into the boat.. madkatz has the lock on the color selection but I had to go with the slightly higher quality slimecat rods just cus I need 2 piece rods and madkatz dont have 2 piece. I have whisker seekers, rippin lips, ugly stiks and the slimecats.. I like em all..
