【PROFILE】
MADKID, a five-member dance & vocal unit consisted of 2 rappers and 3vocals, was formed in 2014.
They released the 1st independent album nationwide in December 2016.
They finally made a major debut on January 31st, 2018 with their single "Never going back".
Their 2nd single "Summer Time" released on July 4th, 2018 was ranked at 6th on Oricon Daily Ranking.
MADKID with great skills on rapping and a wide variety of vocals is now known as the dance & vocal unit with one and only performance.
They are singing the opening theme song for the TV anime 'The Rising of the Shield Hero' scheduled to start broadcasting world-widely from Jan 2019.
The single CD containing this song will be released in Feb 2019.

5 years ago I went to Tokyo with my dad. While walking on the streets we saw a guy singing and we started watching him, he saw us and proceeded to stare at us while singing (there was a bunch of people but his eyes were fixated on my dad and me). Suddenly he started singing 'happy birthday' to me (No, it wasn't my birthday) and then thanked us for being there (in english, what a sweetheart). The reason why I keep coming back to this song is because I could relate to Naofumi's situation and how the world is unfair, people cheat, people take advantage of you, the odds are stacked against you. Yet Naofumi rises despite countless set back after set back. I could relate to his boiling anger and frustation, I could feel the rage and desire for justice. Everytime I hear this song, it almosts feels like a message to rise against this unfair world and come out on top.
