This will allow you to use the 2nd player port for 2 player action as originally intended! This is a step by step guide to get this feature working on AutoBleem! @@Jammet from what I know is that the kernel swap is required. How would the dev team over at autobleem ever implement otg. Unless they find a way to access the original kernel with administrator privileges.

@Broken Sprites they will work fine. Just make sure it has mini USB for your power connector and for your nes. Look for them on Amazon or aliexpress or Google them. I got mine from aliexpress L&R angled for 1€ or so. They are exactly the same as the ones you can buy locally but cheaper.

@Broken Sprites you can also verify your otg with a phone that has micro usb. Especially if the phone has Android. If it works on your phone it will work on your nes.

Once modded, love my PS Classic. I got it for Xmas from a friend who apparently found it dirt cheap at a Black Friday sale, and thought of me. It looks amazing next to my NES/SNES Classic consoles. I have a dedicated shelf for all the classic consoles, and I'm thinking of broadening my collection with a SEGA Genesis Classic as well, and possibly N64 Classic too if Nintendo decides to give it a run.

OTG is great. Finally we got rid of the ugly usb hubs. 😋 I'm using the angled otg with low profile hcsd card reader. Works excellent. Advantage it has is no cable breaks.

Yes, In the video he says it doesn't matter if you are going to use Bleemsync or Autobleem, the process to install the OTG support is the same regardless.The only thing he is doing is Installing the OTG support which happens to be in the Bleemsync package, After that is installed you can use either Autobleem or Bleemsync, Your choice.

This is the way to go. My PSC was running mint until yesterday and now it's bricked out of nowhere. The only thing I can tell is that the case is warped under my 2nd USB port, so it must have overheated and killed the system.

So, during my update to OTG after i put the EBOOT file onto my Flashdrive, my Playstation mini crashes and now it doesnt work. Its constantly blinking red and thats it. Help. lol If i unplug it, it quickly just starts blinking red again.

You are prabobly using old stick. Buy new USB 2.0 32GB they are cheap and it solved all of my problems.

ignacio meteors you need to install new kernel with OTG support. Autobleem can't do that because it doesn't modify anything in the system at all, it's just a new shell loaded from USB drive. So you install a kernel with OTG support with BleemSync, then you can use AutoBleem only. You don't need BleemSync at all after that. Just keep a backup of your BleemSync files with system backup in case you'll need to uninstall it or flash a new kernel.

Thanks, worked flawlessly. Still didn't find a 128GB stick which works though. I tried the Sandisk Cruzer Blade 64GB, like in the compatible USB drive list, works fine, but the 128GB model doesn't.

The compatibility problems stem from the player-2-port not providing enough power (only 100 mAh) for many USB drives. So as I understand it, once you're using an OTG adapter to plug in your USB stick, it shouldn't matter anymore, any drive will work, as it's powered via the power cord, not by the PSC. For the initial hack just use a small/older usb drive (usb2.0) which doesn't use as much power, then switch to a large usb3 drive for permanent use on the OTG.

Yes you can. You can use evolution UI or the classic UI. The evolution UI does have its benefits though. Ive spoken about that in previous videos. Check my playlist in the description.

You need a small older USB drive to deliver the initial payload. Then you can use your 256GB from then on in.

The title states exactly the audience I am addressing. Ive covered Autobleem mostly on this channel, but the video is clear in that we are using Bleemsync to get the feature to work on Autobleem. Thats who I am addressing, those who have been watching all my autobleem videos and would like to know how to get this feature to work. Thats how titles work, you address them to the audience you want. I didn't make this video to address people wanting to make a Bleemsync build, though each is addressed in the video. Hi Every time I try and update with the custom 1.1.0 kernel the psx goes into recovery mode at the end so instead of light going orange I’m getting red flashing light . Try the adapter at the back and it’s not working so I take the kernel is not flashing , has anyone any ideas Thanks

Just a quick note, in case someone would rather use the angled OTG adapter, be sure to get a RIGHT angled adapter. The Playstation's power port is upside down, so a left angled one will point it towards the HDMI cable.

I was fortunate. Back when I was getting an OTG adapter for my SNES classic, I got two adapters. One right angle and one left angle. So I ended up with one extra that fit my PS classic.

I have autobleem 0.7.1. My usb is a 3.0 type but it looks very slow. It stucks all the time, especially when is playing a video inside a game, for example intros. Can i use that method on autobleem 0.7.1? Will my usb be faster after that? EDIT: I managed to install succesfully the bleesync kernel and i used the otg cable. Is working fine but the menu are stucks again. I think is my usb stick. Now i'll try another one and after that i'll use my 1TB HDD with the whole psx library on it and see how it goes!!! Stay tuned... EDIT 2: The problem was my USB Stick. I used another one and worked fine without sound-video glitches. I used my 3TB and is working fine with 5 games on it. Now i'm copying all my PSX library (2200 games!!!!)Stay tuned... Edit 3: Hi guys again, so i tested my 3TB hdd and is working absolutely fine! Evolution UI now showing 2120 psx games! And quess what...it's super fast!

Just few question When you update the second time (after finishing flashing bleemsync modding filesystem....) you use the lboot.epb that is on modmyclassic to install Autobleem (the custom firmware link on modmyclassic) ? I started with AutoBleem but no reason to anymore. BleemSync is dead simple to use. Just drag n drop your games, cover art pack, and you're done! really simple. No more messing with subpar AutoBleem packs, with compression slowdowns, or missing critical games. RetroArch is also included, so you can easily drag over your other romsets. Doesn't get much better than this :)

Just double checked and yeah it loads up the PS Classic like normal, as in the stock games etc. But you still will have the Bleemsync payload on your system, its just not seen. You can uninstall Bleemsync if needed, but yeah havent ran into any issues powering up without a drive.

Looks like it to me. He did the full BleemSync hack as a workaround, just to get the OTG support, then simply booted using AutoBleem. Not worth it in my opinion. But then again, I'm not planning on doing much multiplayer gaming on mine.

I just bought a PS Classic yesterday for € 19,99 and got a 4gb drive that works without having to powermod. Got Autobleem 0.71 with Retroarch running and a few games. If this solution works for like a bigger USB 3.1 drive (64gb) without powermodding then that's great!

hi it I have downloaded the ps1 Rom pack 256gb from arcade punks but on the classic it says games failed to verify when I am scraping them I named the folders on the flash drive the same as the games also would I have to have spaces. I am using autobleem

Okay so I put in the first flash drive with bleemsync. Then I took the back up files and copied them onto my laptop but I kept them on the drive. I then put the kernel in update folder. I then plugged that in. The system did the update and then went to the retro boot and blemmsync title screen. I then turned off and unplugged the console. After that I took my otg like you have and a flash drive with autobleem 0.5.1 ntscu with all my games I wanted and plugged it all in and then turned on the console. It took a minute and then loaded it normally. I dont know what I missed or needed to do
